Come and experience a welcoming stay, a home-from-home room and somewhere to rest your head whilst you experience all of Dover, and East Kent, has to offer. The room has been furnished for comfort so that, ideally, you won't want to leave.

The space
Lesley and Sidney Arbuckle lived in the house from 1961 - 1986. The room is situated on the first floor, in what would have been the grand drawing room of the house. It has its own balcony, king-size bed, decorative fireplace, a large antique wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and hairdryer.

The en-suite bathroom with has a freestanding bath with overhead and handheld shower and generous basin. Due to the ceiling angle in the bathroom, the recommended height for the shower is up to 6'2"/187cm.

The room has been sympathetically restored, decorated and comfortably furnished to offer you a enjoyable stay and a place to relax. This room is a lovely hideaway retreat!

On the top floor landing, just above your room, we've stashed our favourite reads in the bookcase so even if you don't leave your room there's still plenty to enjoy.

You're welcome to make use of the secret guest pantry next to your room where you'll find a Nespresso machine and fresh milk in the fridge. Let us know if you require any non-dairy milks and we'll leave them in the fridge for you)

Hello! Having moved from neighbouring county Essex a few years ago, I have relocated to East Kent and have fallen in love with Dover. The house has been a bit of a 'fixer-upper' so has turned into a hobby of it's own, and would love to share the rooms with people travelling to Dover, East Kent and wider. Outside of this I am a bit fan of travelling and seeing as much of the word as possible!
