The Hen House is a quirky, corrugated Tiny House retreat with a comfy double bedroom, kitchen and cooking facilities, a private hot tub, and daylight-attracting gallery windows that showcase the Sperrin Mountains to absolute perfection!
Spend the evening taking in the views whilst relaxing in front of the Danish Morso stove or enjoy the communal Gin Tin facilities with BBQ.
The Hen house is at the rear of Bancran School our family home and in a quiet area.
The space
The Hen house is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Inside The Hen house there is an open plan kitchen living space, a superbly finished double bedroom and adjacent bathroom with shower and luxuries required.
The kitchen comes with a double gas hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking equipment and utensils. A breakfast pack will await you with local pancakes, crisps, tea, coffee, cereal and milk.
There is a comfy sofa that also forms into a sofa bed and ample seating to enjoy the danish stove. Fire wood is also included.
We've added a 43inch TV to the space recently.
Right outside guests can enjoy the luxury of having their own personal spa hot tub with beautiful views of the mountains and stars.
You will also have private parking, access to the communal Gin Tin which is home to the huge Weber BBQ, pizza oven and sports tv. Inside the Gin Tin there are also dinning facilities.
The gym area located inside the garage is also available for guests to use during your stay on request.
Guest access
Bancran School is located 3 miles outside Draperstown which is a small town with shops for groceries. Inside the town there are a number of bars and cafes which we are happy to give recommendations for.

These are all located at the rear of our family home which is the old school.
To maintain everyones comfort and enjoyment there is a strict quiet time in place after 10pm, all communal spaces are closed up and external lights out at this point. We would ask guests to enjoy time in their own space after lights out.
