The space
Looking for a holiday that actually feels like a break? Bashley Woods Retreat offers a "home from home" experience that offers so much more than standard park rentals. Situated in a prime spot within the 5* Hoburne Bashley Park, this is the ideal base for families who want to be in the heart of the action without sacrificing comfort.
One of our best features is our location. We are just a short, safe stroll from the park’s 5* facilities, giving you the perfect balance of action and privacy. The "Independence" Factor: Let the teenagers head to the entertainment complex, pools, or game areas on their own - they’re never more than a few minutes' walk away, giving them freedom and you peace of mind.
Enjoy our very secluded 'secret garden' grassed area tucked away behind the holiday home. Edged with hedging, it’s an ideal spot for younger kids to play safely, for babies to nap in the fresh air, or for adults to simply chill and relax in total privacy. Perfect for a quiet morning coffee or a private spot to sunbathe away from the park bustle.
*** Because we are close to the fun, you can sometimes hear the sounds of the evening entertainment from the deck on summer nights. It’s the perfect backdrop for a glass of wine while the kids enjoy their freedom. (Note: If you have very early sleepers or light-sleeping toddlers, please keep this proximity in mind!)
We’ve packed this home with "extra" touches that go beyond the typical standard found in many site-run units -
A light, airy open-plan lounge with a massive L-shaped sofa and a feature electric fire. It’s the ultimate spot for family movie nights - we even provide a DVD player and a large selection of DVDs for all ages, so there’s always something to watch!
A Fully equipped kitchen with a double oven, large fridge/freezer, and all the utensils needed for everything from quick snacks to a three-course dinner.
Three bedrooms including a master double and two twin rooms. Please note that the twin beds are narrower than standard singles, making them ideal for children (though they can be pushed together to create a larger bed if needed).
We provide all bedding (made up for your arrival), bath towels, hand towels, tea towels, bath mats & oven gloves. Just bring your own beach/pool towels!
The wrap-around deck is fully gated and secure, so your four-legged family members or younger children can roam the deck safely.
Enjoy full central heating, double glazing, and a spacious family shower room. You get the 5* park experience with the privacy and personality of a well-loved private home.
Our new cleaning company provide a lovely welcome box with just enough for your first cuppa when you arrive. Our doggie guests are not forgotten either and can expect their own welcome box!

You will have full use of the property plus use of the on site leisure facilities if you have purchased the leisure passes.
Other things to note
This property is privately owned but the owners have enlisted the help of Sue Williams of Unrivalled Holiday Homes to manage their bookings & property for them. All correspondence will be dealt with by Sue.
Once you have made your booking you will be asked for your email address in order to be sent further information. This information includes a booking form asking for personal details in order to apply to Hoburne (owner of the site) for the leisure & car parking passes, as required by them for all guests staying on their sites. It will also provide all the information on the costs and payment requirements for the leisure passes which are dealt with by Sue of Unrivalled Holiday Homes.
The leisure passes cost £66 for up to 6 guests for up to 7 nights (NOT per person). Payment will be made directly to Sue of Unrivalled Holiday Homes who then applies for the passes for you as our guests. We require at least 1 weeks’ notice to process the passes which will be available for you to collect from reception on your arrival.
All water and electric charges are included in your holiday rental charge but please be mindful of leaving lights and the heating on when you're out, both for environmental reasons but also because of rising energy prices!
Pet friendly features and amenities: -
• It can be difficult to find luxury accommodation that accepts well behaved dogs, but we believe the two need not necessarily be mutually exclusive!
• A dog is ‘family’ too and subject to our House rules, one well behaved dog is welcome to join you for your stay. That is why we have made sure they can enjoy your holiday with you, they do not miss the fun, and you do not miss them!
• Please specify at the time of booking if you intend to bring your dog. An extra charge is applicable of £30 for their stay - please make sure you add them to your booking. Registered guide and hearing dogs belonging to those with visual and hearing impairments are welcome to stay without charge.
• We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our ‘home from home’ holiday home and have high cleaning standards so that all guests (with or without dogs) can equally enjoy staying in our holiday home.
• Your dog will enjoy a small doggy treat provided as part of our welcome pack for guests on arrival.
• We are perfectly positioned for country, coastal or forest walks, so you will never be short of places to burn off some energy and get some exercise, whatever time day it may be! And there is an on-site designated dog exercise area as well.
Prohibited Breeds -
In the interest of guest safety – especially children – and the welfare of other dogs on site, the following breeds of dogs are not allowed. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
• Breeds classified under the Dangerous Dogs Act: - Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero.
• Other prohibited breeds: Rottweilers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Chow Chows, Alaskan Malamutes, Bull Mastiffs, English Bull Terriers, Japanese Akitas.
We have a strict NO SMOKING policy in our holiday home including on the decking.
