The space
Location, because it stands in an ultra quiet setting - you will very rarely hear any road noise at all yet, within a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk, you are in the centre of town.

Style, because we have strived to provide a contemporary space with a few quirky features all set within delightful gardens.

Parking is free, and guaranteed - right outside the bungalow! This avoids the stress and wasted time in trying to find parking elsewhere. Our private drive actually provides two spaces for you.

My 'Bijou Abode' is located in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, in a quiet part of Town, being one of just three bungalows on a private road surrounded by delightful gardens- a real hideaway with zero road noise.

The bungalow has been renovated to provide a cosy modern interior, with all the amenities and facilities you need. There is a fully fitted kitchen, cloakroom, modern open lounge area with 'Smart' TV and Netflix plus the usual catch up services and wifi plus warm cosy conservatory. One bedroom with king size bed, built in wardrobe and dressing table and large en-suite bathroom, containing both a bath and a shower. Private car parking for one vehicle. There is a good sized west facing, gravel garden, additional side patio and established garden to the front. The garden is perfect for relaxing and secure for dogs.

Our property welcomes your well behaved pet, but we require the garden to be kept clean. The end of Clematis Close has a large green space, which is very popular with dog walkers.

If you are visiting us on a cycling break, we have a large garden cabin, where bikes can be securely stored ( by arrangement ) A map of varyingly challenging routes, can be found in the bungalow. Driffield also has its own bike themed cafe ‘Bike Cave’ and shop.

Guest access
Our lock up cabin is available for stowage of bikes, fishing gear etc, by arrangement.

Other things to note

Neighbourhood highlights

We bought the bungalow purely due to its location. Clematis Close is a small cul de sac in itself, but number 7 is one of three similar bungalows set off the main cul de sac, accessed via a private drive with gardens to the rear, side and 'woodland' garden to the front.

It is extremely quiet with zero road noise.

The development is purely residential, accessible into Driffield on foot or local bus service, with a good road network providing access further afield.

Driffield itself provides a traditional town 'vibe' with a selection of local eateries and Public houses to enjoy.

Lives in Driffield, United Kingdom
Hi, I'm Nicola. I live and work in Driffield with my husband Martin, our two children and our dog, Sadie. We bought our bungalow in 2021 as we fell in love with it's location and felt that it had great prospects for the future. We are avid gardeners so the bungalows gardens were a huge draw. After thinking that the bungalow only needed a lick of paint and a tidy we decided to go further and create a more contemporary space, combining the kitchen and lounge areas and pretty much refitting everything in the bungalow. We have a busy family life and hope that the airbnb will be a family affair with everyone mucking in. After servicing the bungalow I hope that I can enjoy a glass of wine or a G n t.
