The space
The site is cosy and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed finding ways to give you as many adaptable options as possible to help you come together as a group whilst offering you little spaces of solitude and spaces to breathe.
Everywhere downstairs has underfloor heating to provide an even warmth throughout the space when you need it and under foot and each room can be controlled individually for that added flexibility.
THE STUDIO
The views from the studio watch over the rolling hills of North Wales. We love blurring the boundaries between outside and inside so there’s as many windows as possible plus 5metres of tall bifold doors so on warm days you can open it up to extend the space onto the patio.
In the studio is:
A piano
Oak flooring with underfloor heating
Chairs
Two tables (see photos)
The 7m x 5.5m studio is very versatile - you could do some yoga in the morning or have a sing around the piano or it can be set up to be the space you eat in.
THE KITCHEN
We believe food has the power to bring people together, whether it’s the preparation, the act of eating and appreciation or the sharing of clearing up duties afterwards.
You'll find recipe books which cater for all the different foodies and requirements. Asda and Tesco both deliver here as do local grocers.
THE SNUG
The Snug is in the same space as the kitchen which is perfect for hanging out with and giving moral support to those who are cooking or clearing up.
Comfy and cosy with colourful seating where you can play cards, hang out and access the balcony.
THE BALCONY
When I come up to the retreat, the view from the balcony is the one that makes me stop and take a deep breath in. I love watching the lambs in spring bouncing around during the day, chasing their pals and the bright starry sky at night.
There’s blankets, hot water bottles, chairs and tables.
ACCOMMODATION
There are 3 bedrooms, each with bunking for 4 people and en suites.
We understand sharing accommodation can feel daunting to some people so we’ve put lots of thought into how we can make it as comfortable and safe as possible to give you ease of mind.
The bunking has been custom built with you in mind including:
- A comfy mattress (a mixture of sprung and memory foam)
- A reading light
- Curtains for privacy
- Shelving space within your bunk
- Plug socket
- Complimentary earplugs
- Stairs instead of ladders
Each en suite has a shower, toilet and sink
Guest access
PARKING
There is stacked parking available up the driveway and additional parking a minute down the road.
Other things to note
The studio is at the top of our drive so we're here if you need us for any reason.
Whilst we're pretty rural, there are a few houses in Dinmael so we ask you to be respectful of the space and those around us. It's important to us that everyone is happy.
To Bring: Hand towels are provided but shower towels are not.
