Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
A 2-bedroom bungalow in the rural hamlet of Woodford. It has a private, enclosed garden with an electric hot tub (an additional extra which is booked for the duration of the stay: 2nights=£70, 3=£100. 4=£125, 5=£145, 6=£160, 7=£160) and parking for two cars. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player, a super king bed and twin beds (and a cot if needed.) We are walking distance from the shop, coast path and pub, with 3 stunning beaches close by.

The space
We offer high quality accommodation designed for peaceful breaks in this stunning area of natural outstanding beauty, where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and unwind. We are 5 minutes’ drive to the nearest beach and a mile from the local Pub and walking on the South West Coast path.
We do have rules on noise and times when the hot tubs can be used so as not to disturb other guests or surrounding neighbours. Our accommodation is designed for families and/or couples so if you are looking for a party/large group venue then we are not the place you are looking for.
If it’s the beach you want with miles of sand, swimming and surf then you’ll be spoiled for choice. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities. There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover within a short drive.
Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited, you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone including great beaches for relaxing and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafés to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the Southwest Coast Path (The Salt Path) offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a heritage centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants and an excellent information centre.

Bramble cottage is an entirely separate property, situated at the end of the drive. You will drive past our house to the designated parking area in front of the bungalow. There is enough parking for 2 cars.
It has a fully enclosed private back garden.
There's plenty of parking on site.

Other things to note
We do not include the hot tub fees as part of the booking as some guests do not want to use it.
The easiest way to pay for this is to bring cash and pay on arrival.
The hot tub is only to be used by the guests who are staying and no music is allowed.

We have one EV charger sited on the main house in the driveway, which can be shared by the 4 holiday lets. The EV charging point is an “Easee One” 7.4kWh. Please request a fob for the charger before you arrive so we can have it ready for you. The cost of charging is 50 pence per kWh. The fob will record how much electricity is used on the app, informing us on how much to invoice you for. We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you move it and park in your designated parking space, thus ensuring the EV space is free for other guests. Please bring your own charging cables for your car.

There are lovely walks from the house to the local pub and down the Coombe Valley to Duckpool. The coast path at Stanbury Mouth is 20 minutes walk. We are based in a small rural hamlet, with a village shop half a mile away.

We moved from Wiltshire to Cornwall to create a holiday place for others to enjoy this stunning coastline as much as we do. We love walking along the coast path and spending days on the sandy beaches near here. We have two dogs and two cats (as well as some chickens) and welcome dogs here. We aim to give you the flexibility to come and go as you please, while being on hand if you need anything. There are lots of books and DVDs to borrow to help you relax and we promise a scrumptious welcome treat.
