The Hut is a lovingly built romantic, cosy place to escape to from everyday life, up a forest track surrounded by woodland . Cook pizzas & toast marshmallows in the pizza oven, watch a film from one of your devices on the screen, snuggle up in blankets around a fire pit or climb into the wood burning Ofuro hot tub to see stars in the dark skies.
There is a well equipped kitchen, relaxing outside seating area, luxury shower room & comfy double bed. Message us for bedding choice & extras
The space
The Hut living area - table and stools, comfy chair, books & games, electric radiator, power points, stool to bed area.
Well equipped kitchen area with hob, grill, oven, sink & fridge. Cooking equipment, crockery, glassware & cutlery along with local tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, marshmallows to toast, olive oil and salt & pepper to cook with.
Luxury bathroom with rainfall shower, stone sink & flushing toilet. Local artisan soap, body wash/ shampoo with essential oils. Comfy robes and soft fluffy towels provided. Heated Towel Rail.
Comfy double bed with 100% cotton bedding. Choice of Goose feather & down (default) or Hypoallergenic hollowfibre duvet & pillows - please message us with your preference. Small but powerful hairdryer
Outside covered shack with comfy seating, pizza oven and wood burning stove. Here you will find cooking /bbq equipment and crockery & acrylic glassware for outside use.

Woodburning Hot tub with towels provided for its use.

We are Sandra & Mike & we came to Buckland Filleigh in September 2019 to escape our frantic Southeast lifestyle with London commute and have not looked back. This area is stupendously beautiful with friendly locals, clean air and incredible local food .We truly feel lucky that we are now living the Good Life.
Our aim is to give the farm, its outbuildings and its land the love it deserves and turn it into a beautiful place to be.
