L'Atelier is one of four beautiful gîtes here at Can Llouquette, set in 30 acres of forest, gardens, a large shared swimming pool, and a flowing stream with natural plunge pools.
Can Llouquette is a very peaceful, 18th Century fruit farm with no neighbours.
All four self-catering cottages are completely separate and private. You'll just hear the river and birds - the sounds of natures.
The space
L'Atelier is suitable for up to 5 adults/children - and a sixth person could sleep on the sofa bed, however please enquire before booking for groups of more than 5.
L'Atelier has two, spacious, identical bedrooms both with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. One of the double bedrooms also has a single bed in it.
Both rooms will also accommodate cots.
L'Atelier has a beautiful open plan kitchen, dining and living room of approx 40m2.
Outside there is a private terrace of approx. 30m2, with picnic table for dining al fresco.
And then you have access to the rest of the 30 acres of shared ground - gardens, the share pool, seating by the pond and hammocks by the river.
Washing facilities are available in the utility room adjacent to the main Can Llouquette farmhouse.

Our home, Can Llouquette is surrounded by nature. It is stunningly beautiful, wild and untouched - located in a remote and peaceful nature reserve.
This is nature as few people encounter in modern life. For us it is intoxicating, and reminds us of our true place in the natural world.
If you have adventure in your heart, and crave true connection (away from gadgets and screens) then this is the place for you.
If you thrive on busy towns, resorts and constant connectivity, it is most likely not for you!
We have a pool, a stream, chickens, a friendly dog, a farm cat, butterflies, wood burning stoves, starry skies, and hiking trails galore. We have lots of books, board games, and a (usually) strong wifi signal.
But we have no TVs, and mobile reception is poor in the mountains - you will not get it from your accommodation.
In lieu of this you get pure peace: the sound of the river and owls, roe deer and wild boar at night, you'll see myriads of butterflies and griffon vultures flying overhead.
We are truly enveloped, blanketed, enshrouded in nature.
The perfect place to detox and completely disengage from the pressures of the daily grind: to rekindle family connections, laugh, eat together, play games - and unplug to reconnect!

A notice for zoophobes:
This is a wild and natural environment, and there is wildlife here - deer, wild boar, eagles, gennets, insects and spiders etc. If you have phobias or are anxious in nature, please think whether this is the environment for you.
