Welcome to 'Captain's', a bright, airy and luxurious 2-bedroom dog friendly holiday home designed for creating memories for both families and friends. And yes, your four-legged friends are part of the family, too!
Located in a superb setting on the 5-star Hoburne Holiday Park in Christchurch, Dorset, our recently refurbished retreat is your perfect home away from home. We’ve added new blinds, curtains, sofas and plenty of thoughtful extras to ensure your stay is comfortable and fun.
Your Home Away From Home
Step inside our open-plan living area, where every detail has been carefully chosen for your family's comfort. The space feels bright and fresh, with patio doors that open directly onto the secure decking, letting in plenty of natural light and fresh air.
The lounge features two plush sofas—with one that easily converts into a sofa bed to sleep two extra guests—offering ample seating for everyone. On cooler evenings, you can all get cosy by the electric fire for a night of TV, reading or games. The Smart TV lets you log in to your own Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts, so you won’t miss an episode of your favourite show! (Just be sure to log out before you leave!)
Our fully fitted kitchen is ready for anything, from a quick breakfast to a full family feast. It's equipped with a full-size oven, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, and all the crockery, glasses and utensils you could need. Plus, we’ve even included a small air fryer for those essential kid-friendly chips! The nearby dining area has a sturdy table and chairs—no wobbly stools here!
Relax and Unwind
After a day of adventure, you’ll love retreating to the Master Bedroom Oasis. Sink into the comfy king-size bed and make use of the walk-in wardrobe and private en-suite shower room. There’s also a dressing table and a wall-mounted Smart TV for ultimate relaxation.
The twin room is equipped with two full-size single beds, which is a rare find in holiday caravans and makes it great for both children and adults. There's also a wardrobe and plenty of space for all your belongings. This room is just across from the separate family shower room.
Family-Friendly Touches
Safe & Sunny Decking: The large wrap-around decking is a fantastic feature for families. It's fully secured with a balustrade, giving you peace of mind while the little ones play safely in the sunshine. There's an outdoor table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining or enjoying a morning coffee.
Easy Packing: We make packing easy for you! All bedding is provided and made up for your arrival, along with bath towels, hand towels and kitchen essentials. (Please bring your own beach and pool towels).
Central Heating: 'Captain's' is fully double-glazed and has central heating, so you'll be warm and cosy no matter the weather.
On-Site Fun: Guests have access to fantastic on-site facilities like indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, The Venue for entertainment, amusement arcade, outdoor adventure playgrounds, indoor soft play and a multi-sports area! (the purchase of leisure passes is required) - please see 'Other details to note' for prices & information.
Even without passes, you can still enjoy the café, bar & restaurant.
Travel Cot/Bed Guard: We can provide a travel cot and/or bed guard at no extra charge—just request it when you book! (Please bring your own cot bedding).

Guest access
You will have full use of 'Captain's' during your stay plus use of the onsite facilities if you have purchased the leisure passes - please see 'Other details to note'.
Other things to note
Leisure club passes - In order to use the leisure facilities at Hoburne Park you will need to purchase leisure passes (indoor pool, gym, entertainment venue & outdoor pool in season). Without these, you will not have access to any of the facilities (there is an additional charge for crazy golf even if you have purchased the leisure passes).
You do not need passes if you just wish to use the cafe, bar or restaruant.
The passes cost £66 for up to 6 guests for up to 7 nights (NOT per person). Payment will be made directly to Sue of Unrivalled Holiday Homes who then applies for the passes for you as our guests. We require at least 1 weeks’ notice to process the passes which will be available for you to collect from reception on your arrival.
All water and electric charges are included in your holiday rental charge but please be mindful of leaving lights and the heating on when you're out, both for environmental reasons but also because of rising energy prices!
*** PLEASE DO NOT charge electric cars from our holiday home - there are charging points in the main car park by the entertainment complex and nearby at Sainsburys & Matalan. The system is not designed for this - hence could cause an electrical failure. ***
Pet friendly features and amenities: -
• It can be difficult to find luxury accommodation that accepts well behaved dogs, but we believe the two need not necessarily be mutually exclusive!
• A dog is ‘family’ too and subject to our House rules, a well behaved dog is welcome to join you for your stay. That is why we have made sure they can enjoy your holiday with you, they do not miss the fun, and you do not miss them!
• Please specify at the time of booking if you intend to bring your dog/s. An extra charge is applicable of £30 per dog per booking, with up to a maximum of two dogs per booking. Registered guide and hearing dogs belonging to those with visual and hearing impairments are welcome to stay without charge.
• We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our ‘home from home’ holiday home and have high cleaning standards so that all guests (with or without dogs) can equally enjoy staying in our holiday home. We provide throws so please use these if your dog likes to sit on the sofa/chairs or bed.
• Your dog will enjoy a small doggy treat provided as part of our welcome pack for guests on arrival.
• We are perfectly positioned for country, coastal or forest walks, so you will never be short of places to burn off some energy and get some exercise, whatever time day it may be! And there is an on-site designated dog exercise area as well.
This property is privately owned but the owners have enlisted the help of Sue Williams of Unrivalled Holiday Homes to manage their bookings & property for them. All correspondence will be dealt with by Sue.
Once you have made your booking you will be asked for your email address in order to be sent further information. This information includes all the information on the costs and payment requirements for the leisure passes which are dealt with by Sue of Unrivalled Holiday Homes & Hoburne Park.
