1 Carnon Mine is in a designated World Heritage Site, located 5m from the sea, with a lovely south facing garden to catch the summer sun until it goes down.

3 lovely pubs nearby, local shop 5 min drive, Truro & Falmouth 15 mins drive. Ideally located to explore beaches on north & south coasts.

From the front door, you'll only need to walk a few steps to the water's edge. Carnon Mine's shore is a sheltered haven for children and adults alike. It’s ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding when the tide is in, and the start of some fabulous scenic walks and cycles in our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Step inside to discover the bright and spacious open plan kitchen and dining room. It's a cook's dream, featuring both a traditional Aga and a full electric cooker with oven, grill and hob. Modern conveniences include a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and premium Kenwood and Magimix appliances.

As a professional cook, I've ensured the kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped for everything from quick family meals to elaborate dinner parties.

★★★★★ It really is a home from home with all the kitchen equipment and furniture you could want for a comfortable holiday. We spent many happy mornings and evenings taking in the breathtaking views and hours exploring the surrounding countryside and water.

The generous dining room offers beautiful views of the garden, creating the perfect setting for memorable gatherings.

Upstairs you'll find a charming front room with water views and comfortable sofas arranged around a wood burning stove - perfect for cozy evenings after a day of adventures.

Our three comfortable bedrooms provide peaceful retreats after days spent exploring:

Bedroom 1: Very spacious ground floor double bedroom with its own private bathroom - ideal for those who prefer not to climb stairs.

Bedroom 2: Stunning master double bedroom with breathtaking views across the estuary - wake up to the gentle sounds and sights of the water.

Bedroom 3: A lovely twin room, perfect for children or friends sharing.

The house offers the perfect blend of original character and modern comfort, all set against the backdrop of our beautiful waterside location.

Neighbourhood highlights

Lovely picturesque road and only a 10 minute walk to the village pub, with great food and ambiance. Beautiful views of the tidal creek with lots of incredible birdlife. With Truro only 5 miles away and Falmouth only 10 the cottage is ideally placed to visit all the local amenities and attractions. It is also on the Mineral tramways cycle trail where you can cycle from coast to coast in just a few hours!
