Beautiful area
Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.
The space
Every inch of the hut is locally handcrafted, using a mixture of reclaimed materials and based on a traditional solid oak chassis. The spacious hut is fully appointed with shower room, flush toilet, a king-sized bed and wood-burning stove. The kitchen has a double gas hob, electric oven and fridge with freezer compartment. Outside a raised deck is a great place to relax with a drink and the nearby former pigsty with firepit and grill will shelter you in even the harshest weather. You'll find it cosy and peaceful under the clear dark skies, any time of year. Help yourself to eggs from the post box and keep an eye out for the visiting wildlife.
