Exceptional check-in experience

Recent guests gave the check-in process a 5-star rating.
Escape to rural bliss, enjoy the peace and beauty of our quiet corner of Devon.

Our tiny house is at the top corner of our smallholding with incredible views of Dartmoor. This pint sized house has everything you could need, bedroom, kitchen, shower room and pop up bunks for the kids.

Enjoy relaxing in the hanging 'egg chair' or soaking in the tub drinking in the stunning view of the moors or toast marshmallows over the fire pit as the sun goes down.

The space
Unwind in the midst of Devon's rural heartland, wander the farm and enjoy produce from our onsite farm shop, meet the animals and admire our heritage vineyard which is gradually being restored to its former glory!

New for autumn 2024 - Soak in our wood fired hot tub enjoying the stunning views of Dartmoor by day and make the most of our darks skies by counting the stars at night.

Get a great nights sleep on the double 'Emma' mattress, whilst the sofa quickly and easily converts to bunk beds with shorty (175cm x 75cm) mattresses perfect for the kids!

(please note that the top bunk bed has a weight limit of 60kg)

In the evening the area is gently lit with festoon lights, enjoy the atmosphere or switch the lights off to make the most of our excellent dark skies which showcase the stars.

Guest access
This space is exclusively yours to enjoy and it is the only accommodation in the paddock. Guests are welcome to explore the farm although animal enclosures and farm buildings are out of bounds for safety reasons.

It is about 100m from the parking to the pitch but a wheel barrow is provided for transporting bags. Please be aware that when there is wet weather we recommend wellies or study boots for the walk across the meadow as it can get a little squelchy after persistent rain!

Other things to note
The tiny house is off grid for electricity and is powered by solar and wind. There is a control panel which shows how much energy you are using vs generating. we recommend not bringing high powered items such as hair driers and electric heaters.

The hot tub is wood fired and we provide enough wood for you to light the fire and fully heat the tub on your first night and top up the temperature on the second night. Further wood is available from out onsite farm shop if required. In summer the tub takes around 2 hours to heat from cold, in the winter this is more like 3.5hrs.

Mains power is always available down in the guest area next to the farm shop if required. Here there is a coffee machine, microwave and hairdryer available for guests to use.

EV charging is available from a standard 3 pin plug socket, there is a charge per kW.

Bedding and towels are provided. Toiletries are available to purchase in the farm honesty shop should they be required.

Extra tents for older children are welcome for a small charge of £5 per night per extra tent.

Guests are welcome bring their own BBQ's we just ask that you use these by the camp fire area away from the tiny house to reduce fire risk and place these on the fire bricks so as not to scorch the grass.

Please note that the tiny house does not lock, we are in a very quiet rural area however we do recommend that you don't leave valuables in the tiny house.

After nearly 15 years in Derbyshire, family & Devon called. We now live on a pretty smallholding with our 2 children, the dog & an expanding menagerie! We have a few small scale enterprises. The old vineyard has been restored, we grow salads & greens in the poly tunnel supplying local farm shops & rear free range pigs, chickens & ducks. Sheep appear onsite sporadically when we have spare grazing to rent & the Pygmy goat pair are just a joy!
