Situated in the middle of a pretty town which has shops, cafes, a supermarket, a weekly market, a theatre, and a racecourse with arena. The town also has several bars and restaurants. The accommodation is suitable for 4 to 6 people, but not for very young children as there is a river. It is in the middle of town so there may be some traffic noise. There is a quiet private space in the courtyard, so you can BBQ, eat outside or smoke and guests are welcome to share the hosts' garden by the river

Neighbourhood highlights
A lively little town with several bars and restaurants and plenty of other shops and services including a weekly market, bakers, butchers, tabac, supermarket, florist, pharmacy and tourist office. Regular events take place here, including music at the Town Theatre and the annual music festival. Sometimes, in the spring and summer, there are live music events opposite, at the restaurant closest to us which also sells some takeaway food including fish and chips. There is a busy Donkey Fair on our Showground field each year and regular visitors to the showground such as the Circus and the travelling cinema. There are international horse events, such as showjumping, 3 day eventing and carriage driving and regular race meetings at the Pole/Hippodrome just outside the edge of town. There are lots of interesting places close by including Chateaux, Gardens, Lakes, a river water park, kayaking etc. etc.
