Well now you can with our beautiful stargazer glamping accommodation ‘The Flower Belle’ with wood fired hot-tub.
Situated on Benton End Flower farm in historic Hadleigh.
Whether it’s a romantic break for two or two besties getting a well deserved trip away, you’ll love The Flower Belle’s relaxed atmosphere and its four legged ‘Neigh’bours for company! If you love flowers, horses and nature, you are going to love it here.
The space
Thank you for taking an interest in our luxury glamping here on our flower farm, hope you enjoy some of the details below;
If you crossed a traditional bell tent and a yurt and they then had a baby, this would be a lotus belle tent!
It's very different to tradition bell tents in the fact of its high sides, perfect for taller people like myself who don't want to have to hunch over when inside the tents!
So, relax you can easily walk around this spacious accommodation without the annoying head height issue of a traditional tent.
WIFI: whilst we don't offer a wifi code, we do advise you just to connect to wifi via your phone (we can help you with this as we have good signal here on the farm) and none of us hardly ever have an issue.
LAVENDER FIELD: The Flower Belle is situated at the top of your very own baby lavender field on a flower farm, where your neighbours are horses! and wildlife is in abundance, from this spot you will often see rabbits, foxes, munkjack deer, traditional deer, sometimes badgers, and plenty of birds of prey. The lavender field is exclusive to you during your stay, no other clampers! so you get to enjoy it all to yourself, it may be currently small, but there are still photos to be had!
PETS: Whilst pets are not allowed in The Flower Belle, due to all our farm animals onsite, you may meet our rescue dog 'pip' seen in the lead photo, and our farm cat Skippy who adopted us (long story!) he is a little bit of an odd ball and may try and convince you to let him snuggle inside the tent, but please, no matter what he whispers in your ear and how very charming Skippy is, he is not allowed inside! :) we also have some fancy chickens and ducks you are welcome to say hello to.
QUALITY: The Flower Belle itself is top quality, it has a beautiful twin lining too, which adds an air pocket between the outer skin, this helps keep you both cool and warm.
AT NIGHT: The Flower Belle is also a STARGAZER, that's right, you can snuggle up at night and watch the stars! and if that's not your vibe, no worries, it has a simple curtain system that easily covers the roof panels for a more cosy feel.
INSIDE: The Flower Belle is super comfortable inside, a full sized double bed with quality mattress, beautiful bed linen to make your stay that bit extra special.
Fluffy robes, slippers, fresh towels, hot water bottles are all ready for you.
COMFORT: It also has a small wood fired stove inside to keep you warm on those chilly nights.
Soft furnishings, spare pillows, bedside tables. fairy lights inside and outside of The Flower Belle.
OUTSIDE: Most importantly there is a full size wood fired hot tub, which is exclusively yours during your stay if you'd like it. It takes approximately 4 hours to bring up to temperature, As an optional extra we can pre-heat the hot tub for you for a small cost of £20 so the hot tub is ready upon arrival.
There is also a gas BBQ for you along with a fire pit, perfect for making s'mores!
OUTSIDE SEATING: There is a comfortable outdoor sofa set for you to relax on, a picnic table and parasol for eating and a small bistro set outside the kitchen so you can have a natter over your morning coffee whilst breakfast is cooking.
KITCHEN: We have lovingly converted a very old tatty pony trailer into a gorgeous kitchen for you, it has a solid wood worktop, plenty of cupboards and shelving space, a 2 ring gas burner and sink with flexi tap. Along with a small undercounted fridge.
Some cooking essentials will be provided and some welcome items. You will also have cutlery, pots/pans provided.
SHOWER: At the rear of the pony trailer is a hot shower where it has a privacy glass door, perfect for that morning shower.
N.B We provide quality eco friendly (Faith in Nature) Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel, to avoid any contaminants on the field.
TOILET: As The Flower Belle is all off Grid, we also have a lovely compost loo a few steps from your door, before you panic, it is CLEAN, comfortable and easy to use, we have sanitiser, sawdust and loo roll provided. At night you will see fairy lights leading you to the loo, and touch lights inside.
WOOD: We will provide you with wood for your log burner inside The Flower Belle and the hot tub, along with fire lighters and some kindling. EXTRA logs etc can be purchased from us at a low cost. VERY IMPORTANT: We DO NOT allow anything other than our own logs, this reduces fire risk.
AREA: We are based on the edge of the historic town of Hadleigh, within walking distance to some fabulous independent shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities including co-op, Morrisons, doctors, chemist etc.
There is so much to do and see here, from festivals to farm shops, luxury spa, vineyards etc not to mention we are just 25 minutes drive to 'Jimmys farm & wildlife park' and just 35 minutes to the fabulous Felixstowe beach!
If you choose to stay here on the farm, you are literally right next door to the famous house and gardens of Sir Cedric Morris the late famous artist and plantsman super famous for his BENTON IRIS breeding. Private tours may be able to be arranged but not guaranteed
Or you may wish to book a private 1-1 floral workshop, that may be 'How to make a spriral bouquet, or flower crown or even wreath making! (optional extra to be arranged once you are onsite)
.Just 5 mins to the shops, 1.5 hours from London, 35 mins to the beach, what more could you want? quiet countryside? yep we've got that too! Animals and Nature? yes and yes to those as well :)

The Flower Belle is situated within its very own Lavender field, and so it is all yours during your stay with no shared facilities.
Other things to note
We are delighted to be a certified Greener Camping Club site, therefore upon booking we will automatically give you a free membership worth £12. If you are already a member of GCC, please let Jo know when you make your booking with us.
Please note that we are a working farm and livery yard and so whilst you are away from the action of the main yard, you may occasionally hear the tractor or horses being moved and cared for in their fields by their guardians, this may include field poop picking.
Fencing surrounding the horses will be electric, therefore if you are petting the horses, do not touch the fence as it will give a you a short shock.
PLEASE NOTE: Feeding the horses is STRICTLY forbidden due to medications and other food restrictions of may of the horses onsite (some are rescue and others elderly).
DO NOT let Skippy our farm cat persuade you to take him into The Flower Belle! No matter how cute he is or what he whispers in your ear :)!

We can supply a breakfast pack for 2 people - local sausages, eggs, bacon etc for you to cook yourself.

Breakfast options are booked directly with us, dietary requirements can be catered for.
