The space
Beautiful open plan modern living space, recently renovated to the highest standard. Heavily insulated using high end fixtures and fittings and luxury bed linen and toiletries.
The lodge is nestled in the heart of Nidderdale and benefits from panoramic views of Nidderdale which is an Area of Outstanding Beauty. Endless walks directly out the front door where you’re able to take in the breathtaking views.

The property is 20-25 minutes from Harrogate by car and only 5 minutes by car to the village of Pateley Bridge which has a fish and chip shop, butchers, a pub and cafes. There is also the oldest sweet shop in the world, which has been continuously trading since 1827!

We are neighbours with Nidderdale Llamas and they along with the Alpacas will often hang their heads over the wall to have a good nose at our guests.

Local places to visit are Brimham Rocks, Knaresborough, Ripon, Fountains Abbey to name but a few.

We pride ourselves on being super dog friendly not dog tolerant!

We live on site but the lodge has a Separate living area so we are on hand should any issues arise.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the full lodge with parking.

Please be aware that the lodge is situated up some steps and so may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Guests have unlimited access to the enclosed secure paddock which is approximately one acre in size. This is situated directly opposite the lodge and shared with the host. Guests have a private patio area with spacious seating area and their own gas BBQ.

It is Self check in and there is parking for one vehicle

Other things to note
Kiln House Lodge is in a rural setting and so access to a vehicle is essential due to limited public transport and taxi services. Although Ubers may be available.

The lodge may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the access being up some steps.

Our Labrador Wilma is often mooching about outside and loves to say hello to our guests.
She may often want to join you and your dog(s) in the paddock. Please let me know if you’d rather she stayed out of the way, and I’ll do my best to keep her inside.
