Welcome to La Source Tranquille, our oasis of calm. We are located 1 hour from Paris and 2 hours from the channel ports, and just 25 minutes from the cathedrals and chateaux of Beauvais, Chantilly and Senlis. Whilst our gîte is beautifully quiet we are just 400m from the village centre with its shops and bakeries. The two double-bedroomed Gîte sleeps 4 and is available for rent from four nights. Enjoy the large garden with and a covered games room. You’ll also meet our dog, Suki, and our 2 cats

The space
Our gite is fully equipped with everything you could need for your holiday. The stairs are quite steep due to the height of the ceilings so may be a challenge if you are less mobile. We've tried to think of everything from a Nespresso coffee machine to a Blu-ray player and USB sockets in the bedrooms. Wifi is fast

Guest access
The gite is situated in our own back garden but you are left completely to yourselves. You have your own private part of the garden which is hidden from the main house. This is where you can sit out and eat on the covered deck or sunbathe on the sun loungers. For the younger at heart you can use the trampoline, badminton net or boules set.
The gîte is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility

Other things to note
Whilst a car is handy to visit some of the wonderful local attractions (not just local chateaux or cathedrals or even Disneyland or Parc Asterix) you could just stay and enjoy some of the wonderful walks or bike rides in the area. Take the opportunity to get into Paris by train and be at the Gare du Nord within an hour by walking to the local train station!

Neighbourhood highlights

Mouy is a small village of about 5000 people. We have a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well as 5 bakeries (yes, 5!), a small shop for groceries and a Tabac plus other essentials. The bigger supermarkets are only 5 mins away by car.
