Soak up the view during your stay.
The 2 bedroom property (sleeping 3) adjoins the our main house but has its own entrance. It is at the end of a short track in a very quiet location.

It is all on one floor.

It is an old building and does have a few rough edges.

Being on the Cotswold Way you have access to great walks in every direction.

There is space to store muddy boots and dry off.

Stroud with its famous saturday morning market is 10 minutes drive. Gloucester 20 minutes and Cheltenham 30 minutes.

The space
The property features a main sitting room with dining table and double doors to outside garden. There is a TV and sofa, log burner and books. Please do not remove the books!

There is a double bedroom with King Size bed and a small bedroom with a single bed.

There is a separate kitchen and bathroom.

There is a private garden (15m by 5m) with a table and two chairs. The garden is enclosed, it's good for keeping dogs and small children but watch out for our 3 chickens that like to visit before letting dogs out.

There is space to park 1 car outside of the annex. Please let us know if you plan to come in 2 cars.

The pet fee includes one dog. If you would like to bring more than one dog please let us know. The additional charge is £10.00.

Guest access
Guests can access all areas, except the utility room which can be used for washing clothes if required.

There is a £7 charge for a wash including detergent. Please notify us in advance if you think you will need to use the washing machine as we need to make sure the door is unlocked.

Other things to note
We also have a pottery studio. If you are interested in having a pottery lesson, we can also offer some basic tuition. £35.00 for a 1 hour throwing session or £40 for two people.

The village pub is now open, hooray, having been recently refurbished (August 2025) and currently only serves drinks and snacks. Food coming in 2026, hopefully.

The Rest Cafe is open and 5 minutes walk and serves coffees, cakes, breakfast, lunch and has occasional events in the evening.

if you are intending to visit more touristy areas such as Bourton on the Water or Stow on the Wold then please note these places are over 50 minutes away. There are nicer places nearby.

Neighbourhood highlights

Peaceful location, a short 2 minute walk to the main village and recreation ground. Kings Stanley is a large village, on the Cotswold Way and surrounded by rolling hills and canals. It is close to Woodchester valley and Selsley Common.

The Rest Cafe is just up the road, there is a small Co op in the village. The pub is currently closed.
