Moonfleet is a bright, modern bungalow tucked into the heart of Carisbrooke village, with views of the iconic castle and the peaceful Isle of Wight countryside on your doorstep. Sleeping up to 6 across three bedrooms, with a sunny enclosed garden, parking for two cars and everything you need for a relaxed island stay. The space
Moonfleet is a bright, well-equipped 3 bedroom bungalow set in the heart of historic Carisbrooke, home to the iconic Carisbrooke Castle, whose views you'll enjoy right from the kitchen window!

It's the kind of location that works beautifully for a proper island escape, peaceful and rural, yet well connected. Newport, the island's main town with its shops, restaurants and amenities, is just minutes away, and regular bus routes from the village make getting around the whole island easy, even without a car.

Inside, the bright and spacious lounge with its large sofa and armchair is a lovely place to land at the end of a day exploring. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for family meals: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and full size fridge freezer all included. High speed WiFi and a Smart TV take care of the evenings in.

Three bedrooms sleep up to 6 comfortably: two doubles and a single with pull-out trundle bed. Every room looks out onto the enclosed rear garden, and blackout blinds, quality mattresses and fresh bedding mean everyone sleeps well. A modern bathroom with shower over bath completes the picture.

Outside, the garden is a lovely sun trap for lazy afternoons, and parking for two large cars means arrivals and departures are always straightforward.

Carisbrooke Castle and its walking trails are literally on your doorstep, and the wider island; beaches, coastal paths, sailing at Cowes and everything in between, is all within easy reach.

Moonfleet is ideally suited to families and groups looking for a peaceful, well-connected base to explore everything the Isle of Wight has to offer.

We are happy to welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs. The private garden and nearby walks make it a brilliant base for four legged guests too!

Cleaning and Consideration:
We kindly ask that guests leave the property in the condition they would hope to find it. This is a much-loved home, not just a holiday rental. Any extra cleaning or excessive rubbish removal may incur additional charges, so we really appreciate your care and consideration

Guest safety:
Please note that whilst the garden is private there is a small shallow stream at the bottom. This is largely inaccessible due to the intention planting and growth at the bottom of the garden however we always advise parents and pet owners to supervise when enjoying the garden!
