The space
This beautiful farmhouse is fully equipped to ensure an unforgettable stay, with a self-contained garden, and access to open countryside. The property is completely off-grid with it’s own energy source and natural spring water supply.
You’ll experience privacy and tranquillity at this unique getaway, with sheep and cattle being your only neighbours. You might get to see the farmers at work during the spring and summer months, lambing in the nearby fields or gathering the sheep off the mountain for shearing.
A hiker’s paradise; enjoy a walk up Aran Fawddwy (906m) and Aran Benllyn, (885m) the highest peaks in Southern Eryri, with the farm’s boundary running along their summits. Walk up to the two lakes and experience complete solitude. It is also perfect for stargazing, with minimal light pollution.
The property includes:
* Large utility, with a washing machine, microwave, and sink.
* Underfloor heating throughout.
* Large open plan living space, with a fully equipped kitchen, including a double fridge freezer, induction hob range cooker, and a dishwasher.
* The living space also includes a cosy lounge area and a woodburning stove. Additional logs can be bought at a reasonable price.
* Large kitchen table, comfortably sitting 10.
* Second living room with a cosy corner sofa and woodburner.
* Smart TVs in both living rooms.
* Bedroom one has a single bed, a sofa bed, and one super king size bed, which can be used as twin bed (request in advance) with an en-suite.
* Bedroom two has a king size bed, a sofa bed, and an en-suite.
* Bedroom three is spacious with a king size bed.
* Bedroom four is a single room.
* Bedroom five is downstairs, with twin beds. This can be a super king sized bed if requested in advance.
* The main bathroom in the property is well situated for bedrooms three, four, and five, with both a bath and walk-in shower.
* Towels and bed linen are provided.
* There are books and board games to keep you and the kids entertained.
* The property also has good wifi throughout, and there is limited cell signal / service outside of the property.
Other things to note
Please be advised that vehicles with good ground clearance is recommended to visit the property, due to it's rural location and farm track that leads up to the house.
Since the property is off-grid and powered by a generator, we cannot allow charging for electric and hybrid vehicles.
