Plein Soleil – Modern Eco House with Pyrenees Views & Private Pool
Plein Soleil is a stylish, south-facing eco-friendly passive house with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees, a large wooden terrace, and a private plunge pool.
Designed for comfort, light, and relaxation, it’s an ideal retreat for couples, friends, or small families.
The space
Living Space
The open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen form one bright, airy space, opening directly onto the terrace via full-height sliding glass doors. The lounge includes a 3-seater sofa and armchair. There is indoor dining for four, plus two folding tables for outdoor dining on the terrace during summer.
Kitchen
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with:
- Samsung induction hob
- Bosch fan oven
- Compact dishwasher
- Large fridge/freezer
- Microwave
- Well-stocked cookware, utensils, plates and serveware
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms, both with direct terrace access:
- Main bedroom: 1.8 m bed, can be split into twin beds on request
- Second bedroom: 1.4 m bed (not splittable); two single duvets available if children are sleeping here
Bathrooms
- Main bathroom with walk-in shower, WC, double wall-hung basins, heated towel rail
- Separate additional WC with hand-wash basin
Outdoors
- Large south-facing wooden terrace for dining and relaxing
- Private plunge pool (2.3 m x 3.3 m and 80cm deep) for exclusive guest use (Seasonal opening: 31 March – 31 September)

A peaceful, modern holiday home combining sustainability, comfort, and stunning mountain views.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire house, the wooden terrace, and the private plunge pool. There are no shared spaces.
Guests are also welcome to walk around the property and enjoy the surrounding grounds. Many walking (and cycling) routes start directly from the house, with a wide variety of excellent walks for different abilities available in the nearby area. We are very happy to share route suggestions and local walking recommendations with guests.
Access details will be provided prior to arrival.

- The plunge pool is seasonal and open during the listed rental period (Open 31 March – 31 September only)
- The house is a passive eco home, designed for natural light and temperature control
- Bed configuration (twin or double in the main bedroom) should be requested in advance
- The second bedroom bed cannot be split, but separate duvets can be provided for children

Neighbourhood highlights
Beautiful, quiet hamlet in the Montagne Noire with views of the Pyrenees. Situated above a vibrant traditional village with well stocked local shop (depot de pain) which is only 5 minute drive away from the house.
The village also has an excellent restaurant, three wineries open for degustation, a regular Saturday morning market with local producers and a busy calendar of activities (bar au vins, music, cultural events) throughout the year.
