The space
Single level, accessible via steps at the back door and a front door ramp, the cottage has two bedrooms, living room with log burner, modern kitchen, and bathroom. Access to the River Annan is a short 60 second walk from the front door

A cosy cottage that has been a fisherman's/angler's cottage for over 50 years. The cottage is very private, there's no passing traffic except for occasional estate vehicles and dog walkers.

Other things to note
If you wish to fish the river during your stay, you must contact me prior to booking. Fishing may be arranged at a later date, if there is availability on the river.

This cottage is secluded and tranquil. Parties, fireworks, and general nuisance and antisocial behaviour won't be tolerated. Please respect the peace of the land and those on the estate.

Hi! I'm an overly-educated rum distillery owner and cat dad :) My home is Dumfries & Galloway, but lived away in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for nearly 20 years, where I earned my PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Since moving back home to D&G I've built a rum distillery here on the family estate, and am now the 15th generation laird-apparent of our estate. Yes, I'm a bit posh ;)
