• Terrain & Altitude: We are nestled in the mountains at 800 feet above sea level. There is a sloping drive from the parking area to the Lodge, but we are always happy to help you carry your luggage. Please chat with us if anyone in your group has mobility concerns.
• The Estate: The Lodge sits on our four acre wellness retreat alongside our small guest studio and our own home. Each accommodation has private areas alongside shared riverside paths and woodland.
• Exclusive Use: If you want complete privacy or expect to make a bit more noise in the evenings, you can book the studio alongside the Lodge, subject to availability. This is especially useful for group leaders who want to refresh away from their clients.
• Summer Stays & Children: During summer we welcome families and friend groups. Because of our rugged mountain terrain, open river, and the delicate nature of the retreat, children must be fully supervised at all times.
• Our Vibe: We are strictly not a party venue. We ask all groups to enjoy their stay while respecting the peaceful natural environment, our local wildlife, and other guests on site.
