Fantastic spacious studio. Premium quality throughout. Sleeps 2 people with a king size bed and a 4 ft spare bed. In the same room. Fast WiFi. 50” Smart QLED TV. 5 ft wide Hypnos mattress. Quality bedding. Gas central heating with continuously heated shower. Fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs. Oak furniture, reclining 3 seater leather settee. Washer dryer also available.

The space
Open planned studio apartment. Very comfortable for up to three people one king size bed plus a 4 ft floor mattress, but as it is a studio, privacy is restricted. Approx 50 sq m. Small double (4 ft) folding guest bed with quality mattress for extra guest. On the spare bed, we supply the linen free, but we can't make it up as takes room in living area.
The kitchen area has everything you need and comparatively large for a studio, fully equipped with all the modern conveniences you would expect to find: an electric cooker and oven/grill, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle, etc. There is a full supply of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Laundry.
There is a combined washing machine and condenser tumble dryer.

Bathroom:
Gas heated shower which provides unlimited hot water.

Sleeping. 5 foot wide bed.

Other Information:
Beds are supplied with duvets and pillows. The main bed will of course be made up. Additional guests are free and bedding is supplied, but you'll have to make the bed up yourself.
An initial supply of towels is also provided. There are extra sets of pillows in plastic bags you’ll see as you enter. If you use, please do not place back in the plastic bags.
The local mini-mart is only 2 minutes away. There is also a Farmfoods store 3 minutes away, whilst the biggest supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, M and S Food Hall) are at the other end of town, about a 10 minute walk away.
A hair dryer is provided along with an ironing board and iron in the laundry area through the bathroom.
We don’t accept pets, sorry. Also, of course no smoking in any part of the apartment.
Please remember that there is one flight of stairs, followed by one short half stairway to the studio.

Location:
Coming from Glasgow, turn left at the roundabout as you enter Oban, go along the one way system until you see Coast Restaurant. 11 John Street is located in the side lane to the left of Coast (cars cannot enter street). Best park as close to Coast as possible or on the esplanade at the bottom of John Street.

Guest access
The whole apartment. The flat is situated above another studio apartment. There are two studios and two 2-bed apartments sharing the same main entrance door.

Other things to note
Parking: There are not many apartments in town with their own parking. Where there is, it’ll cost you far more in the room rate. Parking is available free on street between 6 pm and 9 am. £8 for 24 hours in Corran Halls Car Park, a 5-minute walk away. Corran Halls 1 is free October to March
The Paybyphone App makes parking so easy!
SIMPLE PARKING INFO: Get the Paybyphone App. Location 807539 is the location around Coast which is nearest to the flat. Park your car and use the app. You can extend your stay every 150 minutes. Just leave a minute between stays. It’s only payable between 9 am and 6 pm. Longer term use, the North Pier Car Park which is just a few minutes away. Again, just use the App and park as long as you like at around £8 a day. If that long term is full, park at the Corran Halls 1 Car Park. It’s hardly ever full, just a couple minutes extra walk. Free in winter.

It's right in the middle of Oban. A two minute walk from the distillery. A mini mart is a two minute walk away. There's a wealth of cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping just moments away from the apartment. The excellent Coast restaurant is 5 seconds away from the front door and an atmospheric vegan/vegetarian cafe is on the ground floor.
