Welcome to our retro staycation, packed with 90s nostalgia, nestled in the Leicestershire countryside.

In this quirky accommodation, we want to transport you back to the days when Brit Pop was cool and the Fresh Prince adorned our screens.

Come and battle it out on our retro gaming machine or chillax and spend time crafting friendship bracelets.

That 90s Bus is perfect for couples, families or friends wanting to kickback and enjoy a 90s throwback sleepover.

The space
On That 90s Bus you'll find yourself walking into an explosion of 90's nostalgia.

At the rear of the bus there's a cosy bedroom area, with a comfy double bed.

The bespoke bunk beds are a unique hideaway for kids or agile adults, great for families or friends. Settle top bunk disputes with a game on the retro arcade table. There's also a sofa bed if there's more in your group. The bus comfortably sleeps 5. The sofa is a small double and there is room to put a travel cot at the bottom of the double bed.

After an afternoon chillaxing 90s style, whip up some food in our fully equipped kitchenette with a 2 ring induction hob, fridge, sink, toaster and whistling kettle. And for breakfast, it wouldn't be true 90s without Pop Tarts so we've a fully stocked cupboard. There's a 4 seater dining table and a breakfast bar, perfect space for a picky tea or playing those retro boardgames.

Whilst the kids are pretending to drive with the original steering wheel, or you could re-enact Posh Spice or Sandra Bullock, there's plenty of space to relax on the sofa or kick back on the bean bags.

As the sun sets, get those 90s vibes going and flick on the neon lights, play your favourite 90s tunes on the cassette player or enjoy a retro game of Pac Man.

Step outside for a chill out on the bean bags, toast some marshmallows on the fire pit or enjoy a game of swing ball.

There’s also plenty of room across the wider camping field for games and exploring, this area is also enjoyed by other guests.

Where do I poo?! yes there is an on board loo! The washroom has a toilet (eco composting) sink and refreshing solar-powered shower.

The bus is fully insulated so it keeps it cooler than outside in the summer heat and the ceiling fan draws the air around the bus. There's also a heater for those colder nights.

Guest access
That 90’s bus is currently parked up in the lovely Leicestershire countryside on a working farm and campsite. It shares the camping field with a number of campervan and tents but there's ample space for everyone and the bus has its own back garden space.

Other things to note
Our 90s themed bus is a unique off-grid escape.

The bus is solar powered which is sufficient for a comfortable getaway.

Being totally off-grid, hot water for showers isn’t endless (but great for a quick freshen up) and we don’t suggest trying to cook a roast dinner on the double induction hob (but fine for whipping up a light meal). There is a happy whistling kettle to quickly boil water and a fridge to keep your wine cool.

The bus stays cooler than outside as it is fully insulated. The fan above the cooker doubles as a ventilation fan to help cool the bus down in hot weather and had a gas heater for those colder nights.

The bathroom features an eco-friendly, waterless composting toilet. It looks and feels just like a regular toilet, with a porcelain pedestal, but is designed so we can move anywhere as well as minimising environmental impact.

There's plenty of games to keep you occupied on the bus but if you fancy a trip out then we have the following suggestions...

Drayton Manor and Thomas Land - 30 mins drive
Wild Sauna Club - 22 mins drive
Twycross Zoo - 20 mins drive
Stoney Cove Diving - 13 mins drive
Mallory Park Racing Circuit - 10 mins drive
Tropical Birdland -14 mins drive
Sutton Wharf canalside cafe - 5 mins drive
