The Tallet is opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging.

The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

There are National Trust properties aplenty within a 30 minute drive of The Tallet: Montacute House, Tintinhull House, Barrington Court, Lytes Cary Manor and Hadspen House newly renovated as The Newt is certainly worth a visit for its gardens and grounds.

The historic town of Glastonbury, famous for its iconic Tor is only a 30 minute drive away. Whilst there, visit Clarks Village for some retail therapy or drive on to Cheddar Gorge for its impressive cliff faces and caves.

Visit the Somerset Levels, ideal for bird watching particularly the starling murmurations in the Autumn and visit the numerous craft centres that specialise in willow creations.

The famous Jurassic coastline is just 25 miles south of The Tallet. Enjoy a day fossil hunting, walk the south west coast path or take in a boat trip to do a spot of mackerel fishing. Choose your preference of beach from Lulworth Cove to Lyme Regis.

The Tallet is equidistant between the fabulous cities of Bath, Bristol and Exeter. Visit their historical attractions including the Roman Baths and The Royal Crescent in Bath, the cathedral of Exeter and the incredible engineering of Brunel in Bristol.
