We are excited to share with you our beautiful Shepherds Huts set within our 6 acre back field at Redford Farm. These huts have been carefully designed and built by ourselves with bespoke interiors. The 3 huts are used together for one booking and consist of the sleeping hut, living/dining hut and the washroom hut. Log burners and a wood fired hot tub make for a cosy stay with nature all around you and big open skies, ideal for dog walking, family time or a couples break away.

The space
We designed the Sleeping Hut to be an inviting, cosy space with stunning William Morris wallpaper that gives you truly unique interiors experience. With your wood burning stove and your sumptuous King size bed, this is a delightful space to retreat to - day or night.

The Living Hut is another gorgeous space to soak up the simple pleasures of living small. With red, white and green tones throughout, this hut is the perfect place to enjoy your meals. Bring forth those fire skills using your wood burning oven to cook a heart-warming feast. Sit yourselves at your dining table for meals, reading or playing games or take in the views from outside to truly enjoy this special rural setting.

Please note there is no fitted gas/electric kitchen with hob or oven here. It’s all wood powered.

Our Washroom Hut is a few steps away offering all facilities you need. A warm shower, sink, WC and space to change if needed. It also offers a chance to peak at the stars if you need that middle of the night use of the facilities :)

Emerge yourself in the warmth of our Hikki wood fired hot tub, easy to set up and can accommodate two adults and two children. Logs are available onsite

To top your atmospheric stay, you also have a huge kadai fire bowl. Take time to enjoy the mesmerising power of an open fire. Simply sit and connect. These huts truly take you back to the enjoy the best parts of nature, whilst also providing you with those lovely indulgences too.

They sleep 2 adults comfortably plus up to 2 children. The dining table and seats along with the cushion pads can be converted into a bed that is ideal for sleeping 2 children between the ages of 5-13 years old or to the choice of the parents. please note this is separate to the sleeping hut that sleeps 2 adults, but is very close by and exclusive to only you when booked. Or please enquire about pitching a tent alongside for any extras. We look forward to welcoming you to this new addition at Redford Farm.

Please note that the huts are located on a holiday accommodation site - so there are likely to be other guests staying in our barns (sleep up to 13) also enjoying the farm stay and the back field the huts are positioned in. We always ask our guests to be respectful of The Huts privacy but please note the site may have people enjoying the field at times as well. We have a zip line positioned near the huts but we ask guests to be respectful of the times they use this as well.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the 3 huts during their stay, set in 6 acres of fields which you are welcome to explore. A short walk across the fields gets you to our Dutch barn which will host a fridge/freezer if you wish to use. There will also be a cool box in your hut.

Other things to note
Please note the Huts are a very special location but there may be other guests on site enjoying the space for walks or games in the back field. The Huts are not fenced off but they are set in the back corner of the field which is not in view of the barns and so has some privacy.

Please also note these huts do not have a standard electric or gas kitchen facilities. The oven is powered by wood and so having some level of practical skill is useful when staying or at least a desire to learn. They really suit people looking for something a little different.
