The space
Your Stay:
You'll be staying in your own private annexe, occupying part of the ground floor of our modernised Victorian home. Originally the coach house owned by the local Lord of the Manor, across the courtyard garden you can still see the archway where the horses and carriages drove through, giving your stay a unique blend of character, history, and modern comfort.
The Space:
Perfect for corporate travellers, couples, or small families. The Lodge Mews features two entirely separate, private bedrooms with double beds, a spacious bathroom and a stylish lounge with lovely garden views.

To keep our rates affordable for all, including solo travellers and single couples, our pricing is tiered based on occupancy and room usage:
Bookings for 1–2 Guests:
Includes access to ONE private bedroom. The second bedroom should not be used.
Need both bedrooms?
If you are a party of 2 but would like to use both bedrooms, please register your booking as 3 guests. This automatically calculates the fee required to open, prepare, and clean the second bedroom.
Families with Travel Cots:
Families with an infant are welcome. If you require the second bedroom for the travel cot/child, please book for 3 guests so the second room is available for your stay.
Private Access:
Your private entrance is located at the rear of the property and can be reached via a secure, locked side gate. The lockbox code will be provided before your arrival. From here, bi-fold doors open directly into your cosy lounge area, creating a welcoming space to relax from the moment you arrive.
Bedroom 1 (Double, En-suite):
This peaceful bedroom has been thoughtfully decorated in calming tones, with artwork inspired by our love of nature and the beautiful surroundings of Market Harborough. Crisp white bed linen and a high-quality mattress help ensure a restful night's sleep.
This room benefits from direct access to the bathroom.
Bedroom 2 (Double, Garden view):
Our second bedroom is light, bright, and designed with comfort in mind. Decorated in soft neutral tones and furnished with a beautiful rattan and wood bed frame and quality mattress, it also benefits from lovely views across the courtyard garden. This room has black out curtains to further aid a good night’s sleep.
It's the perfect spot to wake up and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
When booking for two people in
one double bedroom please let us know which bedroom you would prefer to use. If no preference is given, we will assume you would like bedroom 1 with the en-suite bathroom.
If you would like to use both bedrooms, the second bedroom can only be booked by members of the same reservation, ensuring the entire suite remains private for your group.
Please note that when both bedrooms are booked, the bathroom becomes a shared space within your group. It can be accessed through two separate lockable doors - one directly from one bedroom and the other a few short steps away from the other bedroom through the lounge.
If your booking is for one room only, please don't use the second bedroom for any purpose or you will be charged additionally.
Minimum 2 night stay for all bookings.
Lounge:
Make yourself at home in your own private lounge. The sofa has been perfectly positioned so you can sit back, enjoy the beautiful garden views, and unwind with a cup of tea or coffee.
A drinks station is provided, complete with a kettle, coffee machine (nespresso compatible), mini fridge, and a small selection of tea bags and coffee pods to get you started. (Please note our suite does not have a kitchen.)
You'll also find a fold-away table that can be used for dining, working on a laptop, or enjoying breakfast outside on the patio.
A TV is provided for your entertainment.
Bathroom:
Leading off the lounge is a bright and airy bathroom, filled with natural light from both a window and skylight.
The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and toilet, along with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash so you don't need to pack these!
Guest access
We think our place is rather special, and we hope you'll enjoy relaxing and making yourself at home during your stay.
From the comfort of your lounge, you can enjoy lovely views of the garden. On warmer days, please feel free to open the bi-fold doors fully and enjoy the fresh air. You're also very welcome to sit on the patio just outside your Mews and to use the fold-away table provided if you'd like to – it's a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a quiet drink in the evening.
To help maintain privacy for everyone, we kindly ask that guests limit their use to the patio area immediately outside the Mews. The remainder of the garden, including the covered seating/dining area on the far side of the courtyard and the outdoor sofas, is reserved for family use.

Other things to note
We love our furry friends, but please note we have a no dog policy at our place.
Just inside the entrance, you'll find a basket for outdoor shoes. Using this helps us keep the carpets fresh and comfortable for all our guests.
