Please note that the Station Snug is pet & smoke/vape free and an entirely separate entity from The Steam Railway (Free Entry) which isn’t open 365 days of the year, so do check iwsteamrailway website before you book if that's the reason for your visit. Your Airbnb booking does not give you preferential access to the Steam Railway.

Noise levels: This is a quiet location with occasional interruptions from passing Steam Trains & cars.

Mobile signals vary across the Island so do check PO33 4DS postcode coverage with your provider before booking.

The Snug is located immediately next door to Station House. The entrance is down the path to the side of the building.

With no Public Transport links, guests can use local Taxi services if they don’t bring their own car or bikes. Tesco & other supermarkets deliver to the door.

When open, The neighbouring Steam Railway offers free access to its Cafe, Restaurant & Bar, Playground, Museum & Ice Cream Kiosk. Do check iwsteamrailway website to book Train Tickets.

Please note that Airbnb's algorithm incorrectly states that we are a '40min Drive from the New Forest National Park' but we are not - the Solent is in the way! We have repeatedly called for Airbnb to remove their misinformation without success.

My work: Host
I'm an Islander through & through, was born locally & even ventured onto the mainland in my time! But I don't think anything will ever pull me away from Island life, it's so pretty, relaxed and peaceful here (usually!). When I'm not attending to my guests you'll find me tending my garden, out walking with my little dog 'Shortstop' or enjoying the thriving local music scene with my island chums.
