This old farmhouse is transformed in a lovely cottage for 2 or a family with one or two children. Situated in the middle of nature, overlooking our valley with the meadows where our animals graze. Ideal for those who search nature and peace.

The space
This cottage is an old farmhouse build from stones somewhere in the nineteens century when this area became inhabited by free farmers.
The farmhouse consists of a not-yet reconstructed stable, and next to that the living part, that has a living / sleeping space, a kitchen and a bathroom. The cottage has clay plaster walls, a wooden ceiling and partly a wooden floor. It is heated with a wood stove and additional electrical heating. The attick used to be hay storage.
On our homestead we have three houses and several small barns. On the pictures you can see the house with the "white" roof on the left where we live and the house with the orange roof on the right that is for rent. This cottage is the white roof that you see in front of the orange roof. All houses are oriented away from the yard and have therefor total privacy.
From the house you look over our meadows into the valley. In the meadows we have 6 horses. Around our house we have 8 cats.
In front of the house is a two level garden. The upper level has a table and garden chairs, the lower level has a fireplace
Guest access
You have the whole cottage available.
We are situated in the country side. When there is a lot of rain or after the snow it can be muddy here. Not around the house, but around the horses and our entrance road can become muddy. If this is the case, you would need to park at the main road and walk the last 400 meters.
In winter when there is snow, snow chains or a 4 wheel drive car is needed to reach the house.

Other things to note
We have a good unlimited internet connection
In the pictures or reviews you might see or read about other animals we had, but we have at this moment only horses and cats. Our horses are not for riding or petting, but you can ride at the nearby ranch.
It might be a good idea to do shopping before you come up to Kralova. Otherwise you'll have to drive back 12 minutes to the nearest supermarket, down in the city.
A small warning: Our place is really in nature, not in/near a village. This is not a place to go to just to sleep over because you had to be in Zvolen
(although you can, of course). Our access road might get muddy and than you cannot reach the house by car. In such case you can park your car along the main road (in the meadow, in Kralova we don't have things like parking spaces), and you will have to walk the last 400 meters. When you arrive in the dark, it might be hard to find our place since we have no signs at the main road, and it's location is hidden from view. But call us and we will guide you here. We are not a hotel, so we have no reception desk, but you can reach us on mobile. If we don't react on a text while you are lost, call us, since we might be on a noisy traktor feeding horses and not hearing that single message beep. Around the house you'll find nature, not golfcourse lawns, no flowerperks nor nice paved footpaths! You might meet wild animals like deer, fox or badger on your way to or around the house. Also our place is depending on public electricity service. Maintenance works or heavy storm or heavy snowfall can damage the electricity supply and leave us for a whole day without electricity, and than also our waterpump will not work (no running water, no toilet flushing). These nature events happen maybe 5 times a year, but when it happens, you'll need to burn a candle for light and save water. In other words, this place is loved by people who search nature and quietness, and are not afraid to break a nail :)
