The space
Villa Les Aumarets is a beautiful, ancient villa that's been owned and enjoyed by the same family for the last 60 years. It sits at the end of a private drive, nestled in 30 hectares of its own woodland.
Perfect for large families who want a peaceful retreat in nature. Relax by the large pool, play tennis on the recently resurfaced all weather court, enjoy dinner or drinks on the covered terrace or on one of the smaller terraces and courtyard. In winter enjoy a large open fire and central heating.
What makes a stay at Villa Les Aumarets special is the sense that you are walking into a much loved home where successive families have enjoyed idyllic holidays throughout the decades. The owners have decided for the first time to make the house available for others to enjoy and you will feel the happy memories of holidays past in every room. This is a house like no other. It is steeped in history. It is filled with memories.
The house has been expanded over the years from the original ancient farmhouse. The various rooms are scattered over 2 floors with 2 staircases, and connecting corridors. There are as many places to be quiet as there are to be social. It is a wonderland for children who will spend hours exploring all of it hidden corners.

Local restaurants are unfortunately not walkable from the property but Uber is available in the are and a local taxi to Grimaud or Cogolin is in the region of €20-30.

- La Chartres de la Verne, a 12th century working abbey selling pottery and local honey (1 hour drive)
- Grimaud Castle, reached by a delightful walk through the ancient village of Grimaud. (11 min)
- Bustling port of St Tropez (30 mins)
