Located between the Lake District, the Pennines and Yorkshire Dales, this homely cottage offers the perfect base for exploring or unwinding. Spacious yet cosy, it’s ideal for solo travellers, couples or small families, with exclusive use of the whole house and a large king bedroom.
Dog-friendly with a secure garden and a travel cot for one infant. Set in a peaceful conservation area, surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty. Village pub serving homemade food and a children’s play area.
The space
The cottage features a spacious king bedroom with room for a travel cot. If you’d like a cot set up for your stay, just let us know in advance and we’ll happily arrange it for you.
Unwind in the luxurious bathroom, complete with a roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower. The property also includes a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals and a cosy living room with a log burner and comfortable sofas - perfect for relaxing after a day exploring.
There is a separate dining room with a large dining table ideal for playing games or spreading maps out for planning walks. Also had a desk workspace.
Outside, you’ll find a secure garden with a lawn, patio, seating area, and lovely countryside views. A BBQ is available during the summer months for outdoor dining.

Kirkby Stephen, which appears on the Coast to Coast walk is a 20 minute drive and also has a range of independant shops and resturants and access to pleasant walks along the river Eden.
