Other things to note
The site is based in a great location for outdoor activity and exploring Wales. Llyn Brenig and Alwen Forest are a close by which is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and sailing.
We love dogs and are happy to host yours, however, our site is surrounded by livestock, our own free ranging hens and lots of wildlife including ground birds. We often have rogue sheep and lambs venturing on to our fields, therefore we require your dog to remain on a lead at all times. A long line is provided to allow your dog freedom whilst staying on site.
Denbigh, Ruthin, Betws-y-Coed and the Snowdonia National Park are approx 30 minutes drive while the North Wales coast is accessible within 40 minutes drive.
Wild Mountain Hideaways is located at the home of working sleddogs. Our land is regularly used throughout the winter months to train our dogs which can be a lot of fun to watch from the veranda of the hut, be sure to give us a wave as we run past!
This is a Freedom Camping Club Site for which we possess an exemption certificate and require people staying to join FCC which is FREE!!
