A beautiful spacious cabin by an island and a jetty overlooking a lake by the South Downs National Park.
With nightingales, bats, kingfishers, heron, dragonfly's, owls, badgers and deer as neighbors.
Cook outside on a fire and enjoy the stars in this Dark Sky Area.
Great for photographers, artists and nature lovers.
Close to Knepp, RSPB, Parham and Petworth Park, Arundel castle, and 3 local vineyards.
Sorry this is not a fishing or swimming lake but a nature reserve.
The space
The beautiful lakeside lodge is positioned right next to the lake and private jetty, a 2 minute walk from your car ( wheelbarrow provided ) and a 1 minute walk from the compost toilets, solar showers and washing up facilities.
Off grid, no electricity or gas, but a fire pit, water, pans, plates and cooking utensils are provided.
Farm shop is open on site Monday to Saturday
Due to the ecological impact of washing bedding after only 2 nights use we do request you bring your own. Pillows are provided. Please bring sheet, good duvet and blankets (summer nights can still be cold) and pillow cases to be cozy.
Bedding and wood and charcoal is NOT provided but can be arranged at an additional cost. Please check with host.

SORRY DUE TO DISEASE PLEASE DO NOT BRING WOOD WITH YOU. ALL WOOD BURNT MUST BE PURCHASED FROM HERE. MANY THANKS
Other things to note
Sorry no amplifed music.
We ask that you please leave only compost which can be returned to the land , all other rubbish to be taken with you. As an eco retreat centre we hope this makes people consider what they bring.
We will not be held liable for any accidents or incidents. Trees falling, lightning striking, falling in the lake, tripping over uneven land or any other injuries to you or your car !
As this is a nature reserve sorry there is no fishing or swimming. Dangling your feet off the jetty is definitely encouraged though
