Our converted coach house offers a cosy corner in the busy village of Downton from which to visit the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the open spaces of the New Forest. Parts of the property date back to 1475 with links to the Bishops of Winchester. There is plenty on offer in and around the village, with local shops, gardens, pubs, walks and bicycle rides along the River Avon. Bournemouth beaches are not far away. We welcome dogs for a fee of £20 for up to 2 dogs per stay.

Large double bedroom with en suite shower room and small kitchen with kettle, coffee machine and oven/grill/air fryer. There is a terrace outside with table and chairs. I am very happy for you to use the tennis court (rackets and balls available)and from there you can go through gates down to the river Please do ask if you need anything. Take lovely walks along the nearby river and in the New Forest right from the house. There are excellent pubs nearby and shopping in Lymington.

Wow, this is our 4th year. Its unbelievable that we have so far raised £24,000 for charity. Why not come and join us and help our local good causes. So many wonderful people have visited the New Forest and stayed with us in our Shepherds Hut and we love welcoming them. Sometimes surrounding yourself in nature is just what you need to give you balance. A perfect place to think and be yourself. Talk to the trees, they do listen!
