This heritage house in Haileybury is lovely. The property is well maintained by the hosts and very enjoyable during any time of year. A cute sunroom offers a beautiful lake view to enjoy over breakfast. And the outdoor spaces offer additional views of the area.

Al and Claudine were friendly, approachable, and professional right from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend Commanda Lake Resort to anyone looking to get away from it all.

The place is excellent, very clean, beds were comfortable, ample linens and amenities. The property is beautiful with the pool area, hot tub and fireplace. It would make a great getaway during all four seasons.

Neil's cottage was the perfect place for our family stay. The cottage immediately felt like home. We found everything we needed and our host was very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed lighting the central fireplace, watching the deer cross the frozen lake, and taking walks along the quiet lane. We appreciated taking our small dog with us. The internet speed is amazing, better than what we have at home. The kids really appreciated the big screen in the downstairs living room. Amazing value for the price. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vila Rosa! The property’s unique charm blended perfectly with the wintry setting, making our trip even more special. It was clean, well-equipped, and just as described. We had a beautiful time at this cottage in the winter. Perfect for a group of girlfriends. We loved the fireplace and candles and the view from the hot tub was so serene. We were pleasantly surprised by the prompt snow clearing that made access much easier. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The kitchen had everything we needed and the local coffee was such a nice touch. Thank you so much for hosting, Holly and Thomas (and Kiwi)!

This stay was absolutely incredible for a romantic getaway. My partner and I spent 4 nights here in February. The location is very private, with stunning views and lots of nature sounds. The amenities were fantastic- everything we could have needed was there. A large fridge and lots of cooking utensils/cookware were present for our use. We made use of the hot tub every night- the host provides a how-to guide for it as well. The woodstove is a lovely addition on cooler nights, as well as for ambiance. My only critique would be once it gets dark out, the lighting inside is quite minimal. We were working on a puzzle and found it hard to see once it got darker outside. All in all, a fantastic location (we stayed here surrounding our visit to the Nordik spa) and really responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks again!!

Mariana is an amazing host. Her response time to any questions are answered within minutes! This place is heavenly. We loved every minute being there. The large living room window overlooking the lake allows a spectacular peaceful view we couldn't get enough of. We can't wait to come back. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us Mariana!

Beautiful little clean cabin with all the amenities needed to cook all meals you need. Perfect for a couple or two (as long as you are comfortable with sharing a bathroom that is situated between the bedrooms). Would recommend to anyone who'd like to have a getaway from the city with a beautiful view.

The place was magical and peaceful. We should’ve went last month as it was very cold and fall almost over but we had a great time regardless!

My partner and I were looking for a romantic getaway after a long summer of parenting. Nicolle’s cabin on Lac Lacroix was absolutely ideal for us in every respect. From the picture perfect calm & secluded lake, to the modern, clean & comfortable cabin, it was everything we hoped for. Reading in the hammock, having a grown up lunch on the dock overlooking the lake, and ending the day in the hot tub were highlights. If you’re looking for a getaway from the kids and the bustle of the city, I can’t think of a better choice. We will return next year. Thanks again, Nicolle!

We had a really great time at the cottage. Everything was very clean and organized and it felt very homey. Stephanie was very flexible and responsive. The place had everything and more that we needed. I will definitely recommend it to large groups. We will definitely be back.
