Holiday rentals with a patio in Bensafrim

During a 2 1/2 week swing through Portugal, we used this space as a base to explore several Algarve beaches. The stay matched our expectation and we were particularly pleased with the nice touches of: a heater on the unusually cold March nights; two really functional cutting boards; a funky but functional coffee maker; and the graceful and friendly host and hostess. Guests should be aware that there is not parking right at the space, and the old winding cobblestone streets made the apartment initially difficult to find, but for us these only added to the charm of the place. Excellent local restaurant, the Den, serves really great pizza and salads!

I cannot recommend this apartment enough, we would definitely stay here again! It's a gorgeous high-end unit with lots of natural light and several patios, very spacious and tastefully decorated. The hosts were wonderful and sent very clear check-in instructions ahead of time along with some good recommendations for local restaurants. They responded to messages very promptly and showed up right away to fix a lightbulb that had burned out during our stay. The area is very walkable, only about a 5-10 minute walk to the main bus station and Lagos Old Town with some good restaurants and cafes close by. Highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in Lagos!

Great apartment and facilities with excelent access to the beach. The exterior and interior swimming pools were really nice, always clean and chairs available. Our host, David, was always very available and responsive to ensure our staying would be the best. We loved it and will be back.

Great stay. Had everything we needed

Staying at Ibora's was a fantastic experience. We came for Christmas and felt completely at home. First of all, the apartment has been beautifully renovated, and she has done an amazing job with it. It has everything you need and is incredibly comfortable—we truly felt at home away from home. Last but not least, Iboras was an absolute angel, from her quick response time to her friendly attitude. I highly recommend staying here—6 out of 5 stars! Thank you Ibora, we will comeback !

We stayed with a family of 5 adults and an infant. Norberto and Danielle were so kind and helpful. They helped us with the questions that were coming to us. We were provided with a crib as we were going with a baby and even allowed us to check out an hour later. The place is great. Family friendly, quiet and very nice. Too bad we only stayed one night... Wonderful garden area, small outdoor gym, games for the little ones and not so small, swimming pool, barbecue... Very clean and spacious apartment, tidy and super comfortable beds. I have to say that one of the beds was huge and the sofa bed was also very large. They had the detail to leave us some coffee pods, infusion sachets... Definitely a place to go back to. Thank you so much!!!!

Nice, calm environment, huge apartment, and it's only a 20 minute walk away from the beach. The owners were helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. They even let us check in early. The double bed is really comfy, perfect for cuddling. The kitchen is well equipped, we could cook. :) The only thing we didn't like were the ants in one of the bathrooms and the single beds were uncomfortable, we could feel the springs in the matresses :( Otherwise, highly recommend! 🤍

It was nice house with pool whis is good for children and adult. The beach is close to this house. Everything was good. Only one thing: There could be some basic spice in the kitchen (salt, pepper...), but in isnt problem to buy own in near shop.

We had a wonderful stay at Maike’s and Jen’s AirBnB. Our trip was slightly delayed, and Maike (and manager Sandra) were very patient and accommodating. The accommodation was clean, and well stocked. Everything one could hope for. The location was fantastic, and access to the beach and hiking trail was extremely convenient. We also enjoyed evening swims in the pool!! The property and landscaping was also beautiful. You will love your stay here! Mat

Vitor’s place is beautiful! We stayed 7 nights and couldn’t be happier with our choice. It’s very close to restaurants and shopping, but in a nice residential neighborhood. Both outside areas are lovely, 2 bathrooms is a definite plus, the kitchen is very functional. Don’t hesitate to book this place! It’s just great!!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Irene—it felt like a home away from home. The house was the perfect retreat to relax and recharge in a peaceful town, while still being close enough to Lagos town center to easily enjoy its vibrant dining options. The beach was also just a short trip away, which is lined with several dining options too (Bar Quim being a new favourite of mine for their prawns, recommended by Jenna). Casa Irene's attention to detail made all the difference. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and Jenna thoughtfully provided extras (like Tupperware, cooler boxes, filtered water, ice packs, and more—perfect for beach days). Every element, from the decor to the thoughtful amenities, was spot on. Highly recommend Casa Irene to anyone looking for a blend of tranquility, convenience, and comfort. Can't wait to return!

The house was beautiful and the surroundings were quit and private. Carla was easy to communicate with before the stay and Isabel was very helpful and quick to reply during the stay. All in all I have nothing to complain about:)

Rui was a great host. Always responded quickly to our questions and was very helpful. The place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet but walkable to where all the action was. Very clean pool area and patio as well.

have stayed in this complex before, apartment exactly as described. Rita was friendly, helpful and very responsive to any questions. was especially thankful that Rita happily spent 25minutes on the phone to fix the AC remote (prior guest unpaired) and didn't leave until it was resolved -very appreciative of that. lovely stay and great hosts, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great place, quiet area with ample parking. The property has a resort feel. Miquel and Liv are easy to work with and provided a lot of useful information. Our group was 5 and we were super comfortable.

Lovely place to stay! Quite a hilly walk to and from old town / beaches but we rented a car so that wasn’t a problem. The car parking is not guaranteed, often had to park on roads because there was no spaces outside. But beautifully clean apartment, exactly how the photos are, and the host was very responsive. The photos looked amazing, but somehow, this place is even more stunning in person. The suite is well laid out for separating the rooms and making it feel like a home. The manicured garden and the pool were really outstanding, Ricardo and Elisabete were a great host in their responsiveness and flexibility. If you are looking for absolute peace and serenity, this is it. We never wanted to leave the property. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Excellent property and attention to detail. A must!!

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. This is our second time staying at Katrina’s apartment and it felt like coming home. The long balcony gives you space to eat outside or to dry clothes. Katrina has thought of everything- from beach chairs and towels to a large rain umbrella which was quite useful as the weather was quite dreadful for a week or two. However, we took advantage of the heated pool that we have access to as well as the in site restaurant and bar and I look forward to returning next year.
