Townhome holiday rentals in Birgu

We really enjoyed our time at Driftwood and everything was as described including the views from the terrace overlooking the harbour and up to the restored bastion walls and fortifications. Having a small kitchen next to the terrace was very useful as Driftwood is as stated a four Storey tradition house. Staying in The Three Cities area means you are away from the busier tourist destinations but saying that it was a lovely area to just wonder around. It was a pleasant walk to the ferry and the journey across the harbour to Valletta was a very nice way to see the cities from the water. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby and Wendy was very helpful with recommendations.

Es war ein traumhaft schöner Aufenthalt im Haus von Jean Paul. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern und man fühlt sich direkt wohl dort. Die Kommunikation mit Jean Paul war super. Er hat schnell geantwortet und war auch bei allen anderen Fragen schnell behilflich. Wir durften sogar später aus checken, weil unser Flug erst am späten Nachmittag startete. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würde sie jedes mal wieder buchen.

The house had the look and feel of a traditional Maltese house, free of clutter with all the modern conveniences required. Local shops near by to get the essentials. Although we had a rental car to see the whole island we took uber into the town center as parking is a nightmare. costs on average €9. Doreen was a responsive host and gave us a list of good recommendations in the Airbnb host page. I recommend you eat, at least 1 night, at Galea's Kitchen (name of restaurant) in the town center. Food is fantastic!!!

Frank's apartment is spacious and extremely well equipped. There are several outside spaces with plenty of seating.The location is near the ferry terminal and also close to buses which run to Victoria. From there you can get buses to elsewhere on Gozo. Frank is a most helpful host, he both picked us up from the ferry and took us back. As well as a bottle of wine, there was some food keeping warm in the oven when we arrived. Frank also took us to the local supermarket and gave us loads of information and suggestions of things to do. A great place to stay.

This is a beautiful house with stunning views in a great location for exploring Valletta and the three cities. We particularly loved watching the world go by from the roof terrace which gets the sun all day. Gianluca was an extremely helpful and responsive host. There is a bit of noise and hustle and bustle with things going on on the water during the day and the cruise ships coming in or going out but at night it is very quiet and felt totally safe with lovely eateries within walking distance. Lots of locals living in the area and so much character which felt much nicer than some of the more modern resorts we saw during day trips around the island. The kitchen is small as described but we managed to cook meals for 4 of us. It might be a challenge for larger groups.

We enjoyed our family stay in Marion’s home. The location was perfect - a quiet street in old Rabat and close to Mdina. The beds were comfy too!

Maison typiquement Maltaise ( soit haute/4 étages et mince) chaleureuse, hôtes acceuillants et pro actifs et surtout emplacement génial, au centre de tout ( bons restos, petites épiceries) et à 5 mns de marche de la Mdina. Il est très facile de se déplacer en bus local. Nous avons été aux Dinglis Cliffs ( au bord de la mer) en taxi et retour en bus local, très facile. Merci Le

It was a privilege to stay in Roderick's amazing beautifully restored 16th C house. The bathroom and kitchen are furnished to a high modern tasteful standard. The rest of the house is fully of wonderful antiques. It was mid winter when we went, so we didn't use the lovely court yard of roof space but they would be great for most of the year. We were met by Steve and shown around when we arrived. Later on we met Roderick. Both of them were charming hosts. The house is actually better than the photos!

Everything was great! The place was exactly as described and even better in person. It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Terrace for all guests on the roof! The host was welcoming and responsive, providing helpful tips, responded to messages so fast. The location was perfect – center of Naxxar, narrow streets with romantic vibes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Malta, and I would love to stay here again. Thanks!

The house was well equipped and comfortable. It is an unusual, quirky place to stay just a few minutes walk from great restaurants, city centre sights and the sea, and there is a handy grocery shop just round the corner. The double bed is in a room on a balcony over the kitchen/living space and one single room is divided from the kitchen/living space by a curtain. There is a separate single room with shower and toilet in the basement. The house is on four floors joined by a beautiful old stone spiral staircase. We appreciated having two balconies. There are security cameras both outside the front door and inside the entrance. Joelean was really helpful and responsive and we really enjoyed our stay in Valletta.

This is a lovely three storey apartment in a traditional Valletta townhouse - the interior is comfortable and well furnished with interesting antiques and all the facilities you could wish for. The kitchen has all the utensils you need, a dishwasher, coffee machine and even the use of a washing machine and tumble dryer in the basement. The bathroom has a lovely powerful shower, the bed is very comfortable and we really enjoyed the balcony in the bedroom opening onto the street. The street can be very noisy with traffic and loud music from the restaurant opposite but this is to be expected in a city centre - we used ear plugs and slept very well. Martin was a responsive and helpful host even allowing us a late check out as our flight was in the evening - overall highly recommended, Valletta is a beautiful city and we had a wonderful trip!

I had a fantastic stay! Well-decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect— just around the corner there is a bus which goes directly to Valletta. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend.

How to describe my stay at this soul place. There is a magic to the space, the host, and the city. Josianne was so welcoming and kind. The rooftop patio was a wonderful place to relax and view the canal and incredible city. The bed was so comfortable. Solo female travelers this place is so perfect.

Jamie was very helpful and communicative, and had left us some thoughtful items at the house as well as some guide books. The house was great and we loved the terrace at the top of the house too, which was great for sunbathing. It's on a fairly busy road, but the advantage is that the bus stop is right outside the house and buses from there will take you most places in Malta. There are some great local restaurants in walking distance from the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Joseph and Natalie’s place, which brings together character and comfort in equal, ample measure. It is blissfully quiet at night and a short walk to the beach and other amenities by day. It is an old property stylishly converted with a modern kitchen and bathroom and a comfortable loft to chill with a glass of Maltese wine in the evening. Furthermore they were helpful and responsive hosts with plenty of local knowledge and information. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Gozo!

Ich war mit meiner Frau das erste Mal auf Malta. Die Unterkunft von Derek liegt in einem ruhigen historischen Viertel mit Blick auf einige wunderschöne Kirchen. Es war fantastisch! Wir haben jede Minute auf der geschützten Sonnenterasse verbracht und die Sonne und den Mond genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr, sehr sauber! Geschäfte für den kleinen Einkauf und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben für Ausflüge einen Kleinwagen am Airport gebucht. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable and the view from the roof is amazing. It could be a little chilly in the winter evenings but there are heaters, blankets etc. The location is perfect for exploring Valetta and surroundings. The ferry is five minutes away - you can see the house from the ferry terminal - and it's a lovely 5 minute journey across the harbour to Valetta. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance and we also found a convenience store. The neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet- although we were there in the winter. You can also easily walk to the historic neighbourhoods of Birgu and Senglea.

une très belle semaine passé dans le logement d'Ortrud, une Hôte très acceuillante et à l'écoute qui donne de très bon conseil sur la localité. tout est accessible à pied de la maison (port a 5 minutes), facile de se garer, le rayonnement sur l'île au départ de la maison également très simple. un grand merci à notre hôte.

Très beau séjour dans le logement de Susanna, dans un quartier vivant, mais à distance de la foule des touristes de Valetta. Proche de commerces et de cafés sympas. Les lignes de bus à proximité permettent de voyager sans problème sur l'île. La maison est grande avec une jolie cour. Séjour parfait.
