Beautiful house, quiet location with stunning views and equipped with every comfort. The center of Cannero Riviera, a cozy village with plenty of restaurants, is about 30 minutes walking distance . The road to the village is steep but you get used to it...

Claudio is a friendly, kind and pleasant host. Always answers inquiries quickly, courteously and with a lot of good will to help. The house itself is lovely. Very comfortable and clean. Comfortable mattresses. The environment is beautiful and quiet and there are hiking trails nearby. There is a well-stocked minimarket 200 meters away. We really enjoyed our stay at the house and would love to return in the future. Thank you Claudio for a pleasant stay.

Marcella is a perfect host The house matches the photos. Bedding comfort, cleanliness The house is perfectly decorated with great care. You feel good and serene. We listened to Marcella's advice for our visits to this beautiful region. The garden is very well maintained with a beautiful lake view. We enjoyed staying at Christina's place very much. If necessary, she was always there for us, but otherwise very discreet, hardly noticeable and visible even though she lives right next door. The large pool was great, except for the clearly audible duct traffic it was very quiet. There are many shops, Ponte Tresa and Lugano are quickly accessible and also in the village there are several easily accessible shopping opportunities within walking distance. Just great!! We stayed here the first time, but certainly not the last time. :-)

This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

The setting of Casa Cattaneo is so very beautiful The light is exceptional making the sunrise and sunsets something to look forward to every day. The house is a beautiful example of modernism at its finest. Whilst some amenities are less comfortable today the house offers an exceptional way to experience the local setting exceptional view of lake Maggiore and the culinary delights of the area.

Mario welcomed us with arms open to his beautiful home! The house was beautiful as in the pictures, very quiet. Mario helped us with anything we needed at any time. We felt very at home! We recommend to anyone who wants to have a peaceful home in a beautiful place with an amazing host to come to mario’s home. It is also close by driving to a big supermarket and to all the attractions this area has to offer. We definitely will be back again!!

Erica's very dear mother welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. The apartment has everything needed - even smaller food was made available to us. The view is top - the location is a little higher and you have to go a narrow path, which is completely fine. Communication with Erica was very easy and we were even able to move into the property a little earlier with demand. The place is really doing very well to switch off. We really enjoyed it - thanks for everything.

Great place for group of 7 (four adults and three kids). Backyard was great for the kids. Grocery store right around the corner. Neighborhood is close enough to St Marks Square to be convenient but also feels away from the crowds

The true luxury is the incredible view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area, especially from the very nice living room. The pool area is also great and the warm hot tub was very welcome in November. Good location, quiet surroundings, about 5 min above Brissago, where there are restaurants and a beautiful lake promenade! Total enjoyed our stay!

This was our second time at this property. The place is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a luxurious vacation nearby Italian lake. We also give extra credit for the hosts due to they (and the cleaning staff) have made tourists’ life a bit easier on relation to very strict Italian recycling requirements :)

Great for families and very welcoming and friendly hosts. Breakfast was perfect and Sonia's wellness offering - we tried the hot stone massage - was a great addition to the trip. Highly recommend!

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!

It was a wonderful time at the great lakeside villa. Beautiful rooms, bathrooms and cozy corners for conversation. The children enjoyed the large garden extensively. Everything worked out great. Only the late check-in time we do not find the price and we have cleaned kitchen utensils again before use. Otherwise, happy to come back. Thank you.

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

great location, magnificent views over Lago Maggiore, the pool is excellent, you can stay an entire day at the Villa and do nothing. the kitchen is a bit basic for cooking and inside is a bit less elegant. Also there was some dust under the bed and wardrobes. The main disadvantage is there are no blinds or shutters in any of the bedrooms and in summer it gets hot during the day and bright at 6 o'clock in the morning.

Hi Property has a great outside space which is why we chose it, Pool ,bbq, plenty of sunbeds, music system. Inside are huge areas but didn't really use as we visited in Summer. The interior is dated from a taste p.o.v but everything you can think of is supplied and its very clean and well looked after. Area is suburban but only 5 minutes from the lake and beach, 10 minutes into the old town with goods bars & restaurants. Great host always contactable.

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

Thank you for renting us the perfect getaway Palmito Villa. The views are stunning, the terraces, the pool, the spacious garage and all the facilities are great! Peaceful but great location near everything- for example boat trips to the islands, restaurants and groceries.
