Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cheshire

An absolute gem of a place. Looks like a lovely little old cottage on a busy road from the outside and it is! However once inside you really do get a country cottage feel. The real open fireplace was fabulous in the evening. The little quirky country cottage garden was blissful with a choice of sitting areas. It was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine on the Sunday morning listening to the church bells from the beautiful medieval church, which is just at the back of this lovely little cottage. We will definitely be back!

Richard was an amazing host, met us at the property and showed us around. The location is great! Lovely and peaceful but within driving distance of all coastal locations. The property itself is as described and better, all the amenities you need and the hot tub was always ready to relax in.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The house was lovely. My teenage son most enjoyed the big tv on the wall. It’s walkable to the town so we ate out there. We were able to spend the day with our daughter before dropping her off at university.

Michelle is an exceptional host —thoughtful, accommodating, and highly responsive. She has truly gone above and beyond, equipping the property with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

Lovely accommodation in an equally lovely part of the world. Deborah and Emma were swift to respond to any questions I had beforehand making our visit even easier. The Paddock is a wonderful property that manages to provide everything you could want and more with fantastic sized bathroom and bedroom. The outdoor area is nice and private, leaving just the amazing views to soak in whilst soaking yourself in the hot tub. The alpaca neighbours are a delight to have grazing right next to you and just add to how special this property is. The EV charger works brilliantly and means having an EV when wanting to travel a bit further a field is a doddle. We loved our stay and will hope to be back at some time

My friends and I had a lovely weekend at Lydia's place. She was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact her. The apartment was close to the station, easy to find and the check in was simple. We had all that we needed for a relaxed and peaceful stay. The secret garden is sweet and a lovely amenity to have and although we didn't need it ourselves, there was loads of space for parking. The kitchen and living room are very spacious. The king sized bed was super comfortable. The reason for our visit was to see Port Sunlight village and Lydia's place was ideal for that as it was only about 20 minutes walk away. I highly recommend visiting Port Sunlight with its art gallery, museum and varied and attractive houses. I also recommend for breakfasts the art gallery cafe and a tiny cafe called Jay's just up the road from the station in the direction of Lydia's place. The staff in Jay's were incredibly friendly and the breakfasts were delicious.

Thank you Lesley & Jez, for letting us stay in your wonderful property. Everything needed for a short break was provided and we appreciated the loan of the rucksack as we had forgotten ours. A lovely comfy bed and very quiet and peaceful, for a good nights sleep after some long walks with the dog. We only had three full days but made the most of them with a canal side walk to Saltaire, a day spent at Round Hay park in Leeds which our dog loved. Also a day in Leeds city which we were impressed by how clean and tidy it was. Loved the Tea cake you made for us, and will be trying your recipe shortly. Thanks again William & Theresa.

A really lovely B&B - warm and cosy. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, spotless bathroom. Everything you needed in the kitchen plus thoughtful extras to make you feel welcome like milk, water, cereal etc. Highly recommend- will be back.

The flat is very spacious. The balcony is a great addition, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Its location is also convenient just a 20 minute walk from the city center, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Marshal was an outstanding host, always checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly. He was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

My partner and I booked to stay here for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it! The air BnB was very clean and we had every single amenity you could think of including fresh bread which we had for breakfast! There were also board games, books and lots of toiletries which were such thoughtful extras. Heating was on regularly so it was nice and toasty, and we both slept so well for both nights of our stay as the bed was so comfy - we both came away for some peace and quiet so we honestly couldn’t have wished for more! Lisa was also very quick at responding and gave us all the information and more for check in, would definitely recommend staying here ❤️

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

Booked a trip for my son’s birthday. From the moment we booked, communication was excellent and prompt. The lodge is great for a short break. We found it clean and cosy, and the bed is really comfortable- I usually struggle to sleep away from home but I slept really well. We didn’t meet Callum but he was very helpful when we needed to ask a few questions. Chester is a lovely city and my son had a great time. He’s already planning our next trip there and stay in the lodge.

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at Tim's place, it was a perfect location for a short break. Very peaceful and beautiful setting, the cabin was just as described and exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay!! Perfect secluded get away. And the flowers and bottle of Prosecco were such a nice touch.

Loved my short stay here, description is accurate and cabin is lovely and cosy. despite the working farm location it was very quiet and peaceful.

My sister, my almost 3 year old and I stayed for one night to spend some time together. My little boy loved it, he spent much of his time looking out of the windows into the trees. The pines is well located, very private without being too isolated. We went for a walk on the Heswall Dale which is next door, and had lovely views. We had Sunday dinner in a pub 5 min drive away which did lovely food (fox and hounds). We made use of the fire pit and had a lovely evening sat outside. The place is clean and tidy, and we had a fab time. Would recommend to others.

Absolutely loved staying here last weekend. It was everything we wanted; peaceful, cosy & relaxing! The space inside is perfect, the bed is comfy, the wifi and Netflix work perfectly. Outside you can feed the alpacas and sheep, which was my perfect Saturday morning! The bath outside was perfect (there’s probably only enough hot water to fill once as I did try top it up but was met with cold water), and it’s private enough so even with other guests in the other lodges you can’t hear/ see them. The hot water is a little iffy but the instructions in the book helped massively as we realised you couldn’t put it on full heat immediately. The only thing I’d suggest is potentially getting an air fryer as we struggled with getting things we could eat without an oven! Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Everything about this place was perfect! Very peaceful and relaxing with amazing views and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend to anyone. ✨
