Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Derbyshire Dales District

This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

Stayed one night whilst attending a championship Dog show at Stafford Showground. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful from initial enquiries to the actual stay. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. This cottage is a little gem! You can really see the owner’s dedication to creating a comfortable and pleasant experience for her Airbnb guests. It’s clean, well-organized, and breakfast is provided. Everything you might need is there—from the microwave to the kettle, and even an iron. The beds are comfortable, and everything is spotless! The little sitting room is lovely, as is the outdoor space. We only stayed one night, as it was on our way back from a trip to Scotland, but we really enjoyed the food at the nearby gastropub and visiting Sherwood Forest—an epic experience for our child, who’s a big Robin Hood fan. Thank you, Clare—we’ll definitely be back!

Florence's location was just where I needed it to be for a brief, one night stay in Doncaster, and at a very reasonable cost. I did not spend much time at her place, but my room was comfortable enough and Florence was a lovely host. I greatly appreciated both the refrigerator and the fan in the room. Please note, for those like me who might be older - the room I stayed in is on the very top floor (up 3 flights of stairs), the bathroom is down 2 flights of stairs from the room, and the stall shower was not operational during my stay (but the climb-in tub did jhave a hand-held shower unit).

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Lovely little rooms above a quaint little pub. An extremely likeable area and everything in sight looked well maintained and looked after. Food T the Saracen’s Head I cannot fault and service was excellent

Comfy bed, hot shower and a friendly reception from Anne and other staff in the tea room made for a perfectly peaceful night away; exactly what we were after. A great location for interesting walks from the door - we walked down the valley to Matlock Bath and then on to Matlock via High Tor. Bonsall itself has plenty to enjoy. Superb service at breakfast - delicious food served quickly. Highly recommend.

Mark was a flexible and easy going host when it came to last minute arrival changes. We were given a wonderful tour, and felt immediately comfortable. location was convenient and central to lots of good restaurants and activities. Decor of the house made it feel wonderfully lived in and cozy to be in, as well as a lot of amenities to make travel less stressful. Clearly a thoughtful host in attention to detail and generosity. Will definitely be staying again, and longer.

Had a wedding at Yeldersley Hall and had a great stay here. It’s a quiet place with fantastic views of the Derbyshire countryside. Gurj was so accommodating and breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious! Gurj’s place is very well connected to Derby or Ashbourne. There is a bus route at the end of the road which I found really useful as I don’t have a car. Would definitely stay again.

The place was quiet, clean, super comfortable and very cozy—perfect for a one-night stay. Lydia was also super friendly and helpful and offered us flexible check-in when transport got delayed. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Sheffield for a short while!

Second time visiting and once again totally worth it. It truly was a special short trip made even lovelier by Andrew. The room and kitchenette were spotless and beautiful with such a warm, welcoming appearance and feeling. I hope to come visit again thank you so much! Wish I could give a higher rating.

Absolutely wonderful hosts and a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Bakewell. The room was lovely and had everything we needed, the breakfast was lovely in the sister venue too and we felt really well looked after. Would 100% book to stay here again on a future visit.

Le logement de Joanna est très beau et très propre. Elle pense à de nombreuses petites chose utiles en voyage: sèche-cheveux, bouteille d’eau, mouchoirs,… ce qui est très agréable. La cuisine était aussi à disposition. La maison est à 15 minutes à pied de la gare, dans un quartier résidentiel hors du centre-ville.

We had a lovely Easter weekend staying at Tracey’s. Tracey couldn’t do enough for us she was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean and the rooms were comfortable for 2 adults, a toddler, a teenager and 2 dogs. Definitely booking again for next year. Thank you Tracey.

This place is AMAZING! we were looking for a place that will quiet and relaxed and close to the peak district and we got that and so much more. this new place is just what we needed. everything was so well planned, the room was clean and the bed so comfortable. Marta's food is incredible and they are both so.nice We can't wait for them to open the Yoga Studio they are planning on for when we can come again we really recommend staying here!!!
