Looking for absolute privacy in a beautiful, natural setting? This five-sided cabin - nestled on a hillside amongst mossy rocks - is surrounded by ancient oak trees. In the forest is a fire bath where you can bathe under starry skies. It is a perfect spot for a magical experience in nature or to sit in silence and write a book.
Pandy Farm is a thriving eco-farm, perfectly situated on the North Wales Pilgrims Way walking trail, the Lôn Lâs cycle track and five miles from Bangor train station.
The space
Cooking Facilities:
The cabin has mains power with modern conveniences including mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and Ninja Airfryer. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper.
Outside is a small patio with garden seating and BBQ facilities, a sink with mains running water (cold only).
Toilet:
The toilet is a few meters from the cabin and has a flushing toilet and sink.
Shower:
The shower block is about 20 meters down the hill and is shared with one other cabin. The shower has hot running water.
Firebath:
The firrebath is exclusively for Badger Place guests. A fireboat experience needs several hours to fully enjoy (approx 2 hours of preparation time).
Heating the Cabin:
The cabin is well-insulated. Heating is from an under-mat heat-pad. A small plug-in heater is also provided.
Internet:
There is NO WIFI at Badger Place, but good 4G reception in the cabin.
Accessibility:
Please note that the cabin is a 30 meter walk - on a narrow path - up a steep hill.
The Farm:
At the heart of Pandy Farm is our desire to create a space where you can relax, connect with nature and with each other. Our thriving three-acre market garden is yours to explore, and during the growing season, you'll find over 50 varieties of delicious vegetables – everything from everyday potatoes and onions to treats like asparagus and sweetcorn!
We also offer fresh hen and duck eggs, as well as lamb from our pasture-raised animals. If you'd like to purchase any of our farm-fresh produce, just let us know – we're happy to help!
During summer, we invite you to enjoy our pick-your own berry experience with blueberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, and gooseberries. It's a
wonderful activity for visitors of all ages.
Love getting your hands in the soil? Join our friendly volunteer sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays – it's a fantastic way to learn about sustainable farming while connecting with our thriving community.
