The Woodpecker is one of two, one bedroom cabins overlooking our Bechan Brook, suspended above wildflower & fruit tree gardens.
The space is perfectly suited to couples or small families with dogs being welcome too.
The 2 person Hot Tub allows you to soak your cares away whilst enjoying the stunning views. The patio with dinning space for 4 is perfect for soaking up the suns rays. If the weather is less favorable the covered balcony is a beautiful space to sit and relax at any time of the dayx
The space
The Woodpecker cabin is an open plan living room, diner and kitchen.
The dining table is seated for two with 2 further fold up chair supplied.
There is a 2 pan electric hob, full electric oven , microwave, toaster and kettle.
With one bedroom containing a standard size double bed and wardrobe plus full privacy film on the bedroom window.
The plush two seater sofa is also a sofa bed which can be made into a further double bed as the second sleeping accommodation if required. It has a new memory foam mattress also .
1 bath towel and 1 hand towel is provided per guest booked to stay.
All pots and pans, crockery and cutlery are supplied.
Tea, coffee, sugar, hand-soap & shower gel is supplied
Facilities of a shower room sink and toilet and hot water
The cabin is heated via under floor heating throughout which makes it very cozy and warm.
The Balcony area is secure for children and dogs and can be accessed from the large Bi-Fold doors along with a side gate.
This over looks the beautiful Bechan Brook and the picnic area below of wildflowers and fruit trees.
There is a large patio which includes outside seating for four and the covered Balcony contains rattan chairs and coffee table.
The luxurious hot-tub can seat up to 4 persons.
The 42" smart free view TV is in the open plan living area and has access to Netflix. Other apps you wish to use will require you log into your own accounts.
We have included a small secure paddock by the bridge where you can let your dogs off to have a run and play ball. The rest of the area is not securely fenced off (bar the balcony) and you will need to keep your dogs on a lead outside of the property.
The cabin is on the same location as our other cabin The Woodpecker. Booking both properties is welcome if available.
We are located on a working farm in rural Mid Wales. You will be surrounded by countryside, wildlife and farm animals along with peace, tranquility and relaxation.
We do provide Birthday packages or Romantic packages as extras. Please contact us for prices and information x
Guest access
Access is via a short 60 second walk from the car park, along a graveled path, which has a slight incline towards the end.
You will go over Bechan Brooks foot bridge from the car-park, which does have some steps. As the path is of gravel, it is not suited to wheeled suitcases.
The Cabin itself is step less access.
There are lights over the bridge and along the footpath to light your way after dusk.
Any Blue Badge holders can contact us regarding alternative parking next to the cabin.
The hard core farm drive down to the cabin car park is not suitable for low sports cars.

Other things to note
There is no phone service signal but you can attach to the WIFI. As we are in rural Mid Wales the WIFI is not Fibre, so may not be as fast as you are used too.
There is a 45 second walk which includes a small incline up to your cabin.

We are located in the Welsh Countryside on a Farm and offer Holiday Retreats for relaxation and 'getaway from it all breaks'.
This said we are in a prime location for visiting many of Mid Wales attractions and beauty for families.
Beaches are 50 minutes drive away. We are surrounded by animals, wildlife, birds , fresh air, stunning views and tranquility. We are a short 2 miles drive from Newtown and all its provisions of supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways.
The Cabins size is suitable for 1 mid-large size dog or 2 small ones. We may approve more dogs please be aware it may be a snug fit for you all.
Please ensure you bring your pets usual beds and blankets as we have a strict policy or not pets on our sofas or in the beds due to hygiene and consideration of following guests.
