Whilst 1 night is a lovely way to celebrate a Birthday or Anniversary, it truly comes into its own when you stay a little longer - 2/3 nights (at discounted rates). With stunning sunrises, slow mornings, quiet walks, maybe a round of golf or visit an alpaca farm & long evenings enjoying the wood-fired hot tub
The space
Brewers Hut is a brand new luxury Shepherd's Hut hand built by Greenhill Huts & completed to a very high specification. The inside of the Shepherd’s Hut feels beautifully calm & inviting. The space combines cosy charm with modern comfort. The artwork on the wall adds a homely touch (made by your host Wendy) making it feel like the ideal retreat — light & modern, but with all the snug character you’d expect from a rural Shepherd’s Hut. As well as enjoying the Hut's existing features, a two night or more break would allow you to visit local attractions such as an alpaca farm, golf course, hiking or cycling trails plus many others.
HUT FEATURES:
Light & Bright: The curved white tongue-and-groove ceiling & walls create an airy, fresh atmosphere, making the hut feel spacious while still snug.
Soft Tones: Muted sage-green, soft close cabinetry pairs perfectly with a premium natural stone worktop. The underfloor heated solid oak wood flooring adds warmth & gives a natural, countryside feel.
Living Area: A soft grey sofa with plush cushions offers a perfect little nook to curl up in whilst reading a book. Above, warm wall sconces cast a gentle glow, adding to the cosy ambience.
Kitchen: Compact but stylish, the kitchen area tucks neatly into the corner with soft-close shaker-style cupboards & a sleek sink. A luxurious quartz worktop blends practicality with charm. A full size fridge, microwave and two ring ceramic hob together with a Smeg kettle & toaster are provided. Guests will be provided with breakfast products for their first morning.
Bedroom: Through the curved partition, you can glimpse the inviting comfortable double bed dressed in soft fine linen, promising restful nights. A wardrobe is provided, together with dressing gowns & slippers adding a touch of luxury & comfort.
Ensuite: The shower room is fresh, spacious, & modern. It is thoughtfully designed for comfort complete with premium brand Molton Brown toiletries. A generous glass-fronted shower with sleek chrome fittings supplied by Agua Accessories Ltd is set against elegant marble-effect panels, bringing another touch of luxury. A neat vanity unit with lighting, together with wash basin provides space for essentials, & is complimented by a modern soft close toilet & heated towel rail.
Hot Tub: Additional high quality, fluffy bath towels are provided for use after your dip in our log fired hot tub.
Fire Pit: Whilst drying off from the hot tub, you are encouraged to pop your dressing gown on to keep warm & watch the stars. Maybe toast some marshmallows over the flames & enjoy a lovely glass of wine.
Guest access
Guests at Brewers Hut have exclusive use of the outside amenities in their own private area. This includes a bistro style table/chairs on the balcony, plus a seating area by the fire pit. A Hikki wood fired hot tub provides an opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the charming view of the Upper Paddock, the Blackdown Hills & rolling countryside beyond.
Upon arrival guests will enter the driveway through private electric gates and will park in their own designated area close to the Hut.
Other things to note
Brewers Hut is located within the grounds of our private 4 acre rural home.
ADJOINING PADDOCK: Guests are not invited to walk in the adjoining paddock as sometimes there are sheep present. When this is the case, please refrain from feeding the animals and keep the gate closed at all times.
SPECIAL OCCASIONS: If you are celebrating a special occasion - Birthday, Anniversary etc - during your stay, please let me know at time of booking as I am happy to accommodate requests for decorations/flowers/balloons/champagne etc.
AFTERNOON TEA: If you would like to enjoy an Afternoon Tea experience during your stay, again please let me know at time of booking.
WIFI: Available.
HOT TUB: We have a Hikki hot tub which is wood fired, we will fill with fresh water ready for your arrival. When you start the fire, please allow 2.5 hours for the water to heat up. There is a floating thermometer which informs you when the temperature has reached the recommended level 38 deg C. We recommend reading the Instructions provided for the best experience. We can offer further advice if required.
LOGS: We will provide you with enough logs on arrival for the hot tub and fire pit for first night, if you require extra we charge £7 per basket.
