The space
Calico Skies is a bright, spacious holiday home set within the peaceful surroundings of Island Harbour Marina, a quiet, safe development right in the heart of the Isle of Wight.
Guests consistently describe it as a true home from home and have awarded all 5 star reviews! The home is arranged over three floors, giving families and multi-generational groups a natural sense of space and privacy throughout. On the ground floor you'll find the fully equipped kitchen and large dining area, with patio doors opening onto a private patio with views across the marina, a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, especially when the resident swan family comes to say hello! The first floor is home to the spacious living room with its own balcony and marina views, and the children's bedroom complete with twin beds, toys, puzzles and books included, with a private shower room next door. The top floor has two good sized bedrooms. The master has marina views, a wall-mounted TV and ample storage, with an en-suite featuring a shower over bath. The second room has its own en-suite shower room. There is also an additional WC on the ground floor.
Practical details matter for family travel, and Calico Skies delivers: self check-in for flexible arrivals, high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, a high chair and travel cot available on request, and ample off-road parking for multiple vehicles, including dedicated EV charging points, one of the few properties on the island to offer this.
The marina setting is calm and unhurried, with the on-site bar and restaurant, The Cockle, just a short walk away for nights when cooking can wait. Cyclists and walkers are well catered for too, with good tracks leading directly from the marina into Cowes, Newport, Sandown and Shanklin. When you're ready to explore further, you're as well-placed as anywhere on the island, Ryde, Newport and Cowes are all within easy reach, with beaches, coastal paths and family attractions in every direction.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property and balcony and patio areas immediately outside.
There is one designated parking space next to the property (See space marked C4) and also a communal carpark with electric charging points if required.
Other things to note
Pets: Unfortunately we are not able to accept pets at the property.

Cleaning and Consideration:
We kindly ask that guests leave the property in the condition they would hope to find it. This is a much-loved home, not just a holiday rental. Any extra cleaning or excessive rubbish removal may incur additional charges, so we really appreciate your care and consideration
