Casa Barlavento In Prainha is a fantastic villa with private pool in a very quiet location in the Prainha gated condominium with elevator access to the prainha beach. The house has sea views and you get sun in the garden all day. In summer, there are three condominium pools and for a small fee you can book padel and tennis courts or use the gym A supermarket is on site as are restaurants and snack bars. The house is 5 min walk to beach and lots of beach restaurants or 30 min walk to Alvor.
The space
Casa Barlavento is unique in its setting in Prainha as it is in a very private secluded location with sea views, a huge upstairs terrace looking out to the sea through some lovely Pine trees. The other side of the house looks over the gardens and courts of the Pestana Alvor Praia Hotel which again means the house and garden are not looked into.
The garden gets sun virtually all day , and has a range of outdoor furniture including sofas , chairs, dining table and sun loungers and of course the private pool, plus a large area of artificial grass for children to play on safely in the garden.
The house itself is accessed only by cars who have a pass to get through the security barrier at the end of the road which makes it very safe (as well as 24 hour security patrolling the whole of Prainha).
Prainha is unique in that it offers everything you could want on a holiday without having to get in a car - supermarket , restaurant (open April to September) plus 5 mins walk from the villa there are 3 different beaches all with their own beach restaurants !

Prainha is very safe with security guards wandering around, gated roads and just a lovely place to wander around be it going to the beach , to a restaurant for dinner, going for a crepe or ice cream, or popping to the shop for fresh Bread . Everything is within a 10 minute walk so easy to give a mixed group plenty of independence without ever having to get in a car !
