Chalet Louis is a traditional french wooden chalet with an modernised open plan living space and recently updated facilities. It is situated in a quiet rural part of the valley with but still remains in close proximity of local amenities. It provides an excellent base for both summer and winter holidays for families and friends alike.
The space
Refurbished in 2016, the open plan living area provides a cosy space around the modern log fire (Firewood included). The chalet sleeps 9 with plenty of storage in the rooms and two bathrooms. Washer and dryer is available along with drying facilities for ski clothes including a professional boot and glove dryer for 4 pairs at a time. An outside secure ski storage locker is also available along with parking for at least 3 cars. The Chalet is in an ideal location on the bus route with easy access to skiing, 2 min drive to Panthiaz lift and centre of La Chapelle/Cret Beni and 7 mins drive to Pre la joux. Conveniently located only 500 meters from a good size supermarket. Bars and restaurants are only 2 minutes drive away allowing for great Après ski or summer walking. The chalet looks out over open fields and provides a quiet location situated within 150m of the free shuttle bus (Check opening dates).
With a young family and a passion for everything in the mountains from ski, snowboard, downhill biking, walking and rafting. There is something for everyone in this more traditional French valley with the peace and quiet of surrounding farmland. This suited our family and acts as a base for our own adventures multiple times a year allowing friends to come and play in the mountains with us.
