The space
The apartment is on the top floor accessed via the main door to the property and up the set of stairs. There is a handrail however those with mobility issues may prefer to stay in our other apartment (West Winds) on the ground floor.
Upon entering the apartment there is a small entrance hall with space for coats and shoes, leading off to the living spaces.
The open plan living space comprises a sofa looking out to the marina, smart TV with access to streaming apps, desk workspace and chair with a monitor, keyboard and mouse provided and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.
The balcony has a small hanging table, fairy lights and there are 2 foldable chairs.
The kitchen comprises a large integrated fridge freezer, washer-dryer, microwave, hob and oven, sink, kettle, toaster and all crockery and utensils. Consumables including bin bags, dish soap, hand soap, olive oil and salt and pepper are included. The 2 seater breakfast bar looks out onto the marina and is perfect for cosy coffee and breakfast mornings or late night dinners as the sun is setting.
The double bedroom contains a double bed with fresh and cosy bedding which looks out of the large window onto the marina towards Plymouth, a wardrobe with internal storage (iron, mini ironing board and hairdryer provided inside), a small dressing table with mirror and stool and a bed side table, lamp and mirrors.
The large bathroom comprises WC, basin with drawer storage and lit mirror and a large walk in overhead rainfall shower.
The property was built in the 1800s and is extremely charming with all its quirky shapes.
The hill walking down to the cottage is quite steep so please be mindful of that. The walk to the cottage from the car park at the top of the hill takes around 1 minute and the view from the top is a gorgeous sight. The road itself is right on the South West Coastal path - please make sure you get out and explore if you can.
The apartment is suitable for 1 or 2 sharing.
Guest access
You will have full access to the entire apartment, except for the storage cupboard which is locked for the cleaners and the loft space which is padlocked.
