Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Small is beautiful! Come and stay in our rather nice little space in the heart of the wonderful South Devon seaside village of East Prawle. Short breaks are welcome and you'll be staying in our bright annexe thoughtfully kitted out with a sitting room and well-equipped kitchen downstairs and pretty bedroom and shower room above - your very own tiny cottage! You'll also have a flower-filled courtyard garden and long views across the fields - count real sheep as you doze off...

The space
We’ve tried to make the space into the sort of place we’d like to stay ourselves if we arrived at an Airbnb: newly decorated with character, a very good shower, a comfortable king-sized bed dressed in quality linen, a coffee maker and some extra touches like nice shower products and fresh flowers from our garden. You’ll also find board games, kitchen essentials and plenty of ideas about where to go and what to do locally.
We do live in the adjoining part of the house but your bit is private.

Guest access
The space is all yours to use with your own sitting room, small kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The peaceful, courtyard garden is a morning sun trap for a leisurely breakfast before you venture out to explore.
There was no room for us to put in a washing machine or dryer but if you like, you can use ours for a small fee. There is a retractable clothes line for drying your swimmers!

Other things to note
The perfect stop over for walkers as we are very close to the South West Coast Path. Birdwatchers and nature lovers will be thrilled to see cirl buntings, wheatears, peregrines, gannets, seals, dolphins and porpoises and even the odd stray whale.
Please note that the field opposite is used for camping 🏕️ in the summer months so you may spot distant tents but it’s very peaceful. Otherwise it’s just sheep!

I am a freelance writer specialising in interiors - I usually work with my husband who is an editorial, lifestyle and hotel photographer working for great publications such as Homes & Gardens and Country Living. I love the sea, drinking cider as any self-respecting West Country resident should, almost all things Italian, catching up with friends over dinner and most of all, my family. I look forward to making new connections through Airbnb :)
