Escape to a cosy countryside retreat in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. This charming one bedroom barn (converted in 2025) offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, breath taking views, and all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay.

The space
Fells View Barn is a recently converted barn in the yard of Honeycott House. It's previous uses including housing livestock, classic car storage, and a workshop. in 2025 the inside of the barn was fully renovated into a beautiful self contained apartment. The barn is all on one level and is split into two areas - a combined kitchen/living area and a spacious double bedroom. There is an en-suite shower room off the bedroom.
The kitchen and living area, with gorgeous views to the Yorkshire Dales fells, has a comfortable 2 person sofa (which can convert to a bed) , dining table and stools and Freeview Smart TV. The newly fitted and very functional kitchen has a large fridge (with freezer box), 2 ring induction hob, microwave and a Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Multifunction Oven. In the kitchen cupboards are all the pans, crockery and utensils you should need.
The bedroom provides generous storage with a single wardrobe (four spacious drawers), two bedside cabinets (each with a drawer and cupboard), and a dressing table (three additional drawers). Enjoy a comfortable night's sleep on the double bed, fitted with a locally handmade mattress.
In the en-suite, you will find a heated towel rail and a spacious shower with both a hand-held and a refreshing rainfall head.
Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided, including free Wi-Fi, crisp bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels, and washing-up essentials.
During its renovation, the barn was extremely well insulated in the floor, walls, and ceiling, ensuring a cosy atmosphere all year round. For cooler months the barn benefits from lovely underfloor heating.
Conveniently located right next to the barn, there is a private parking space equipped with an EV charging point (charges apply) for your use. This area also offers a bistro table and two chairs, providing a charming spot for a relaxing morning coffee or an evening drink after exploring the Dales.
Fells View Barn is suitable for a solo traveller, a couple or two friends (when making use of the sofa bed). It is not suitable for children or infants.
Guest access
Our guests have sole use of Fells View Barn, the car parking area right next to it and the bistro table and chairs found here.
Your hosts reside on-site. Across the yard from Fells View Barn, you'll see a private undercover seating area and the back of their home. These spaces, along with the gardens, are for host use only and are not available to guests.
Other things to note
The maximum occupancy of Fells View Barn is two adults. If the two guests do not want to share the double bed, there is the option of making the sofa into a very comfy bed for the 2nd guest. Please note - the sofa bed will take up most of the lounge area when it is in use. (Please let the hosts know if this option is required so that extra bedding can be arranged before you arrive).
If guests are travelling independently, a second car parking space can be provided free of charge on site. (Please let your hosts know this is required when booking).
Fells View Barn is not suitable for children or infants.

Meet your host
Heidi and Kev moved from Northamptonshire to the Yorkshire Dales in 2023. It had been their dream to move up to the Dales for over 20 years! They are walkers and cyclists and have built up knowledge of the local lanes, trails and footpaths.
They absolutely love living in Hawes and getting to know the local area and people.
