Offering the warmest of welcomes and finished to a very high standard by owners Elizabeth & Rob, the Threshing Barn is an intimate haven nestled in 25 acres of tranquil countryside. Equally suited to family breaks or romantic getaways, it blends modern elegance & function with numerous historic features. A perfect base from which to explore Northumberland or just relax and breathe in the beautiful views.

A Kitchen, Living and Dining space in the former Barn, two elegant ensuite bedrooms in the extension. Sympathetically clad to blend with the historic Barn.

All of the Barn with its Kitchen, dining and lounge area, two bedrooms and bathrooms will all be privately yours.
Other things to note
Set in a private valley in the heart of the Northumberland countryside, the Threshing Barn is uniquely positioned to be a secluded retreat yet highly accessible by road. The wider site is only shared with ourselves (Mill Cottage) and the larger Hallington Mill (holiday let). There are no other neighbours in site. Steeped in history and surrounded by meadows and pasture, we are positioned close to the market towns of Hexham and Corbridge with numerous cafes, shops and events. It is also a perfect base for exploring Northumberland and the wider area including the Lake District (50 mins), Kielder Forest with its Dark Skies status (35 mins), the Scottish Borders, the rugged Northumberland coast (40 minutes) and for those visitors from further afield the culture and shopping attractions of Newcastle/Gateshead (30 mins).
We have an 7kw EV charger which is EVCharger is available the Barn. We charge 50p per KWH for car charging. This can be paid in cash or via bank transfer. Please contact us and we can let you know what you have used if you do not know.
We have a £20 per dog charge.

Married to Rob and together we have renovated an old Mill at Hallington, Northumberland, a truly beautiful part of the world which we hope you will visit. But most importantly I’m a passionate mum and love seeing children learn and grow!
